Excellent pan. High build quality. Very thick metal used. Lid is heavy too. Got a free wooden spatula with it. Recommend

Not as heavy as cast-iron, needed that. Does a great job as a stove top grill. And because it is cast aluminum instead of cast-iron, I will use it both as a grill pan and as a stove top simmer pan. With the lid on, I can braise a dish stove top instead of putting it in the oven. With cast-iron, you might be concerned about ruining the nonstick surface, if you used it that way, but with this you don’t have that problem. Those were my ideas when I bought it, and it’s working out well. Very well built, I expect it to last and last.

It's very sturdy and good quality product, it's little heavy in weight. It does it's job perfectly.

It would be nice if the handle is detachable so I can put it in the oven. The knob can be a little higher so that you don’t touch the glass lid when it’s hot. Lid can leak at the corners.
