*Edit #2: The clock gradually lost its brightness over time. It's still on the brightest setting, but after about a year I noticed it was getting harder to see. Now it's very faint, and only visible in certain lighting conditions. I guess it only lasts a year or two. I've changed my review from 4 to 2 stars.*Edit: My review originally said the clock looks just like the pictures, but then the picture changed, so I have no idea. My "black and white" one looks like the pictures attached.Cons:-I can't get the brightness level to change, even following the directions carefully. Maybe mine's defective, or maybe the instructions are incorrect.-I can't imagine using this as an alarm clock. The controls are convoluted.Pros:-Not the easiest to handle in terms of setup and other controls, but it's a clock, so you really only have to do that once.-It has a simple one-button-push to toggle between the settings of Always On and Sound Activated.-Looks great when the display is on.-Also looks great when the display is off.Fun fact:-It's way tinier than it looks in the pictures! Read the dimensions carefully. It's less than 5 inches long.Luckily for me, I never intended to use it as an alarm clock, and the brightness level is where I want it, so those things aren't a problem for me and this was a good purchase for my needs at this price. But if you want an easy alarm clock or care about brightness, look elsewhere.

This is ok. The settings are kind of difficult to program and the USB cord is really short. Wouldn't really be a problem since you can also use batteries but the light gets really dim and it drains the batteries in just a few weeks. I like it, but not for the price
