Seems soft for a t10 blade, should be in the range of 63-67 hrc. also is the saya piano lacquer or just paint. worries that corners were cut?

A blade with a 63-67 hrc would shatter like glass. A machinist file is between 61-63 hrc and when I have dropped one on the floor from only 4 feet it shatters into at least 4 pieces. That hardness is usually only on machine tool cutters. As for the saya I am not sure if it is lacquer or paint.

T-10 from what I researched is pretty much just to 1095 but with just a little bit of tungsten and a bit of other trace minerals added to it correct?
