Just the right brightness
These are good little bulbs. They are just the right brightness. I put them in my range hood which only has two brightness settings, high and low. Both settings are great. High is not blast you out bright and low is not so dim you cannot see anything. The low setting works great for a night light too. At its brightest each bulb gives 40 watt brightness for only 3 watts of electricity usage. That’s the beauty of LED lights. These bulbs have solid base and clear plastic that surrounds the LEDs. I like that I can install the bulbs without touching the LEDs and getting oil from my fingers on them. They won’t burn out as fast that way. The product page for these bulbs reads that these bulbs are “ Microwave Oven Bulbs” but a note on the inside of the box they come in says not to install them in a microwave oven or your microwave oven can be damaged (see pic). It indicates they can be used above or below a microwave. So anyone interested in these bulbs needs to be aware they are not to replace the bulb that is inside a microwave. According the the box these bulbs have a life expectancy of 22.6 years and an estimated yearly cost $0.36 cents if you use them an average of 3 hours a day. There is an application guide included for these bulbs as well that provides some instructions and trouble-shooting. It also indicates there is a warranty of sorts. They will provide a refund for up to 3 months and there is a one year warranty. There are no specifics as to the details but is is nice they are backing up their product. There are email addresses provided for contacting the manufacturer if there are any problems with the bulbs. My only qualm with these bulbs is that they do not emit the same shade of white. But it is not too noticeable. These bulbs would work well enough in just about any fixture that has the E17 base and look good. They are about average in price, are inexpensive to use and will last a long time. I recommend them.

A win-win value.
I can't test the 3 watt per bulb claim but that seems about right given the nature of LED technology. Let's face it, lights are one of the few technologies that seems to have improved over the last few decades. These obviously can be used in any E17 fixture, but I actually did use them for a microwave as their ad suggests. So I went from 80 total watts for two bulbs down to 6 watts. Add to that savings these bulbs are not particularly expensive (about the same price as incandescent) and should last for *many* years under most circumstances because they are LED. They replaced standard bulbs that were nearly 20 years old and still working. The light output over my stovetop is much better even though all bulbs were rated "40 watt" (equivalent to 40 for the LEDS). Incandescent bulbs can dim considerably with age. The light is also much "whiter" now (5,000K) - making it even easier to see how much paprika you just added. It is just hard to go wrong with this. This version can be used with dimmable switches. That said, I cannot speak to quality control or longevity. I can't guarantee these will in fact last 25,000 hours (or that they draw only 3 watts each), but they should. One more point you may want to be aware of. This should be a really quick home improvement, but it may not be. BOTH of my older bulbs which came with my microwave had the bases come loose as I was removing them. One required a pair of needle nose plyers and a LOT of tedious work to get loose, during which you want to make dang sure the power doesn't get switched on.In the picture, I have installed the LED replacement on the left and still have the old bulb on the right. Hopefully you can tell the bulb on the left is much brighter and "whiter" in color.

Long life light bulb
The company claims a 22 + year lifespan with 3 hours of daily use.I don't know about that but it is a clean, bright light. It comes in a package of two which would make them last for 44 years with 3 hours of daily use. These light bulbs will probably outlive me 🤷🏼♂️

bright
Works as expected I think, but something to keep in mind is that this only illuminates out the sides. It doesn't work as a replacement for a "spotlight" style light, or even as a regular light bulb style. So applications can be a bit limited, got it for a lamp but ended up having to use it with an entirely different fixture because it didn't have enough light focus

Simply perfect and the price is unbelievable.
The light over the stove is the one I leave on 24 hrs a day, it provides the night light I need for the house too. These are great ! They are LED so they will last long, they are dimmable and the low setting is perfect for me. They went in easy and I didn’t lose the screw for the light cover for once. And you can’t beat this price for two. Absolutely recommend .

Great upgrade
The bulbs arrived in a nice package with a detail instruction. They are very bright in my freezer, but I have not test if they are dimmable yet. So far, works great for me. I like them.

Wrong color was sent
I wanted to give these LED a 5 star but they sent me the Warm White instead of the Daylight I ordered.LED technology has been a blessing because of the brightness it provides with less energy usage. Just look at the comparisons of the 3W LED and the 40W incandescent. The incandescent offers slightly better but insignificant brightness but uses 13 times more energy. The light of the LED also distributed more evenly. And the LED will last about 25 times longer according to our energy department so it is actually 12 times cheaper to buy the LED in the long run even it costs twice as much initially.
