By far, the best product I have found for light oxidation removal for RV gel coat restoration!

Really convenient having the polish and wax combined in one product and the finish you get is excellent. My boat had some light fading and after one pass it looked like it just came off the lot. Saves time and money versus buying two separate products.

Easy to use. Shine was adequate. Didn't last as long as I had hoped. After researching articles about gelcoat care, I will use two different products and steps to polish and wax instead of this all-in-one product.

We love this product and have ordered it many times, along with other 3M products in this line (Perfect-it Gelcoat). However, for some reason there isn’t a seal on the inside of the lid, as there are for so many liquid products…. This means that unless the seller tapes the lid shut and/or puts the whole thing in a sturdy plastic bag, and then tapes the bag shut, it can easily leak out during shipment. When I cleaned the lid I noticed that the lid itself was slightly faulty - it didn’t click shut evenly on both sides, but even if it had been a perfect lid, it still needed to be taped down at the very least. Luckily we didn’t loose too much of the product, and it didn’t leak through to the outside of the box, possibly damaging surfaces it comes into contact with. We’ve had this issue before with MANY products we use detailing boats. That’s always a risk when something is being shipped to you - most of the time we’ve received this brand they are taped shut. This instance just demonstrates how important that extra step is.

didn't use on a boat, but works well on any 2000grit sanding. I use 3m perfect-it rubbing compound 1st, then this to take out swirls. Plus, i do not have to wax too, its done! Great!

We live on a boat so purchased this product after a recommendation by a Gel Coat professional that swore by it. Had a few scuffs, of varying depth and length, that I needed to get rid off. This is a “ All in one” product so it’s basically apply on affected area, a little bit goes a long way, use some elbow grease then leave for a while then buff to shine with clean cloth. Quality product from 3m. Only one I have been using and will continue to use.

Great product

I don't usually do reviews, but this product far exceeded my expectations bringing some 10 yr old slightly faded white gelcoat back to life. I simply used a micro fibre cloth and a very little amount of the polish/wax and the surface came up shinning right away. No buffing machine, just by hand. Very impressed.
