Great machine!! I researched all different brands online & chose this one. I had tried a Seal a Meal brand from a friend & that one (granted it was the older model) did not vacuum out all of the air. This gets it all out and quickly - less time than other brand videos I watched.Pros:Nice design/size so I can keep it on my counter without taking up too much space. It also happens to match all of my other kitchen appliances.Seal line was not narrow as others stated to look for, but med width & a good tight seal - all the air was gone.It came with 5 cut larger bags & a roll to cut my own that was generous amount for me to start sealing away.It was not as loud as the other brands videos I watched - it seems to have a "softer" tone when vacuuming.Cons:I wished it had a "pulse" button for things like chips that the Crenova VS100S had which was my second choice (because it was a higher cost). I have tried the stop button during vacuuming on this one, but not sure if that will hurt the device over time.I really love this & plan to use it to cook ahead of time when family is here. I will be able to make small pies & freeze them so I'm not spending time away from family cooking/baking. The crust on pies does not get soggy after vacuum/sealing/freezing and for pumpkin pies you just have to freeze FIRST then vacuum seal so the liquid does not get sucked up! Great machine!!!

Have used it a couple of times and am hoping my experiences will get better. My initial experience is... it is an under performer. It only came marginally close to removing air from some meat. I tried several times and each time it only marginally removed air. I had owned a much cheaper vacuum device and it performed much better than this. So, I have several years of experience with these vacuum devices and so far this has been an underperformer. Am always wanting to give products several opportunities to perform. So I will come at it again and see. But so far, I am leery about it's performance. Big sigh... I hope it will do better, but would rate it at 70% of my other vacuum that gave up the ghost, but at a cost of $18 about 6 years ago, it worked better. Will report back if my experience improves.

Pretty good food sealer, esp. for the price. It's not as great as some of the higher end models, but it does the job. I use it when I sous vide - it doesn't work well with any water/broth/marinade, even though there is a moisture setting..try to keep that at the BOTTOM of the bag - it sucks it up RIGHT away. I've also used it to seal portioned out proteins in the freezer, I recommend pushing as much air out as you can before hitting vac seal. I've had mine a few months and a piece has already cracked off.

I decide to have Vacuum Sealer because of the fridge, My fridge always making my food smell bad and change the test so I said let me try this one and see if that work , the Sealer make meats fruits and anything you want to keep it fresh.This vacuum sealer is easy to use and does a great sealing job.We usually buy a lot of meat, fruits and ended up throwing it away.This machine are very good quality and it does come with sealing bags . I highly recommend it and everyone should have this if they waste the food lol.

It caught a tiny bit of pork loin juice, now the automatic seal function doesn't work. I have to press seal manually or it'll just run forever. The machine also will stop and seal immediately if I try to run it on moist+gentle since the damage. I understand you're supposed to limit the instence of this but it's a kitchen product and I feel like it should at least have a little bit more tolerance to a half second of wet sucking without the machine becoming a quarter functional. In addition from day one, the left side latch was mushy and takes a lot of downward pressure to lock.Perhaps my expectations are too high? I wont be returning it, because I can still use it with the manual sealing button and that's good enough for me.

Absolutely LOVE this vacuum sealer! I buy a lot of items from Costco and needless to say, I have a lot of food that needs to be preserved. This vacuum sealer also seals some of the original packaging of my items, which is nice to save on the special vacuum seal bags. It comes with the attachment for the vacuum seal containers and enough vacuum seal bags to start. Definitely recommend to those who buy in bulk and want their food to stay fresh.

This worked great the first time I used it. I find the seal is not holding and I worry the food I have processed will get freezer burn.

Had it for a month and the sealer had a small section that rubbed off, so now it melts a hole near the seal and i have to double seal each time and hope the air doesn't get in.. Saw that i eent past the return date, but it happened just as that date came around. Orherwise, it was great. Would like to send it back and get a non defective device.
