VOYTO 500ml Matt Black Heat Resistant Brush On Paint- Heat Resistant up to 800C Ideal for Stoves, Fireplaces, BBQ's, Firepits, Exhaust Pipes

Tried Jenolite heat resistant paint and it was poor, so went for this one. Applied two coats. The first coat was with a paint brush and covered okay but you could see some brush marks. Applied the second coat with small sponge roller. This worked very well covering nicely. Opening all the windows on both applying and heating/curing there is a strong smell. After a lot of use our steel “range” stove shows no signs of greying (like with the other paint). Would definitely buy again.

Très bonne tenue à la chaleur sur un brasero/plancha que je me suis fait. Bien respecter les temps de séchage en ne chauffant pas trop fort la première fois. Produit cher mais une couche est suffisante.

This paint goes on a treat , it's very thin so spreads well . I slapped it on my log burner stove to give it a fresh look and it did just that . But the smell !!! It's so strong you can smell it through the top of the unsealed tin ... smells like pear drops .. the hard boiled sweets type ... but on steroids . The smell clears within 15 minutes as the paint drys so fast . All in all , I'm pleased with the paint , and yes I would buy it again .

It's the middle of winter, so obviously, using it outdoors isnt really advisable; so I had to set up in my large living room (26x12ft), even hours later, the entire house still stank. After drying, it has a dull, dark grey finish, however according to the can, it needs at least 1 hour at 400C to fully harden, so installing these parts back in my stove before I do that, risks damaging the new protective paint. I will try an overnight bake in my oven, set to self cleaning, but even that isnt going to reach 400C - I hope it is enough. I cant see another review mentioning this - I wonder if I am the only person who actually read the side of the can......
