So soft and washes nicely in washer and dryer. Fluffs back up. It does tend to slowly slide on the floor when your feet are on it at toilet or standing at sink. Plush, soft feel under your feet! Very enjoyable texture experience. Not sure if the backing and how it will hold up to laundering. We don’t soak our bathmats (dry mostly in shower and then step out on our bath towel, habit of old-school training as children) so I can’t comment on absorbency. The color pattern (ombré) is beautiful. The first bath mat my husband actually commented on (without being asked), “I like that bath mat!” Purchased for a full bath remodel and no disappointed. The only “negative” is how it’s packaged to ship. Although cost effective and energy sustainable, you have to be extremely careful when cutting it open so you don’t cut the fabric.
