Rechargeable!!
Ledlenser i6R is small slim light with chargeable battery. What else you want? No rattling at all, as someone said in his review. It’s really good . If you looking for this size ? Don’t look any where else. This is the one . Surefire light are good but they will not make chargeable . Simply Because they make $$ from selling batteries.

Fantastic flashlight.
I love this flashlight, I use it at work on a daily basis. It will stand up if you drop it and keep on working. It is very well made and it’s a rechargeable penlight. I would definitely buy this again. It also has a 7 year warranty which is very good.

Warranty procedure not so great
The light output is excellent, charging station is awesome the 3 months of usei got out of this light. But I had an issue with the switch button. The company banks on you being too flustered with their warranty procedure and giving up. I bought a 2nd one and pin pointed the issue to the spring on the button switch losing contact with the battery. Ive since switched to a Streamlight Microstream and never looked back. After 6 solid months ive had no issue with it. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more for a Streamlight

High intensity beam stopped working
It was a solid pen flashlight before higher intensity beam stopped working, now it shuts off every 3 seconds. Low intensity beam is still operational.Used only occasionally, it should have lasted much longer.

Simple but good for basic use
This item seem to be a bit of an oddity for LED Lenser - I can't find it on their website and it doesn't appear to be advertised very well, perhaps it's a "market test". Overall I like the light, it is very simple and straight forward. It's not the brightest pen light on the market, but it is well built and the charging is easy which is a big plus. The focus system is pretty good, but the beam is not as tight as I would have expected for this brand. What it is good for: A simple light needed for the occasional low light area. Despite not being very bright in comparison to others on the market, the throw is really good and the light distribution is good. There are no special modes like strobe or SOS; on/off including momentary and high/low.It is advertised as "industrial" which is why I presume it doesn't use the lithium batteries. That's not a huge deal to me, but I did find it a bit odd. The machining is very good and feels great. The dock seems to be well built along with the provided charging cable. The carry sheath is made really well.I subtracted one star because the batteries rattle inside the light. I was slightly disappointed in that considering the quality that I've associated the brand with in the past. Perhaps the next model will have a higher output, which would be a huge plus. Even at 120 lumens, the throw is really good which is great in low light areas and when signaling an air strike isn't necessary. It does not appear that you can exchange the batteries for a lithium pack, but I don't plan on doing that anyways.
