BasicForm Large Silicone Dish Drying Mat - 22 x 17 Inch Sink Mat - Extra Large Counter Top Mat for Kitchen

I was looking for a mat to go under an existing metal drying rack I had. I have a small home and kitchen (no dishwasher) with limited counter space. After getting this mat I was inspired to recycle the metal rack and just leave the mat on the counter. It frees up the space and looks clutter-free next to the sink. I do recommend laying a dishtowel on the mat for air-drying purposes, as it dries better. I have also used my fabric drying mats on top of it which also work well. It is easy to clean and roll up and tuck away when I entertain. Note: When I first took it out of the package it did not lay flay, over time it settled down.

Nice size. Looks good on the countertop. Good price. Much nicer looking than a traditional drainer. Easy to stow away when not in use, however, it looks nice enough that I typically just leave it out on the countertop all the time. I like that fact that it doubles as a trivet for hot items. That comes in handy more often than you would think. The only con is that it is not deep enough to really keep the water away from the dishes, so they don't always dry completely. However, it works well for what I purchased it for... it compliments the dishwasher for dishes that are not dishwasher safe.

Good looking industrial. Good density fractions of an inch larger that described. Quite happy. Not using it under the dish rack. We are using it on top of a mini fridge to protect its top surface

Bought to use as a surface pad on my vanity to protect from scratches. Not sure if it will hold up to hot tools and makeup stains, but I suspect it will be good for those (why I bought it).I like the material and thickness.However, mine has been on the counter for weeks and still has these raised waves, which I despise. I missed the exchange deadline by one day.

I've used cloth drying mats for a few years but they get smelly and don't seem terribly hygienic. I like that I can really clean this one off. It doesn't absorb water obviously so sometimes it needs to be wiped off. It looks nice on the kitchen counter too.

Only thing that could make it better would be if it were at an incline so the draining water didnt pool. But super easy to clean and looks great

I replaced my cotton drying mat with this since the other one got smelly fast and this combats that.

We use this as a supplement preparation surface in our feed room for our ponies- it's tough, easy to clean and doesn't mind if vitamins, minerals, oils and whatnot get spilled on it. Great price for a useful item.
