Drake's Yankee Doodles, 1.395 oz Snack Cakes, 1 Box

Ahh, who doesn't recall having Yankee Doodles as a kid growing up? Well, decades later they still have that same great taste, albeit, on a smaller basis. These will always be a favorite.Seller shipped quickly. Expiration date was far enough down the road. They arrived without being crushed beyond recognition. I can't ask for more than that!

I ised to eat these otems growing up im ny 40 urs ago. Same great taste!

It’s definitely not the way it was when we bought them in the 80’s… There were 2 in a pack, they were wrapped in the cupcake paper they were baked in and the cream filling was real. This stuff tastes like marshmallows.It’s edible, but definitely not the same.Disappointed. Wont be ordering Yankee Doodles no more.

I used to buy these every week when I lived in NYC so when I saw them here on Amazon I was so happy & couldn't wait to taste them again.1) For $13 I expected 3 or 4 packs of 3 cupcakes but received 6 or 8 individual cupcakes -- WHAT the HELL!2) Opened and bit into a cake & it was NOT FRESH, so I checked box expiration date & the cakes were 1 month from expiration.3) I placed the unopened ones into freezer & took one out yesterday to thaw for an hour, opened & it was so dry I tossed the others in trash.NEVER AGAIN! Will wait till I go back to NYC in summer & stock up on Fresh Cakes. What a scam selling old cakes!

A family member of mine had been looking for these for quite awhile, they were their favorite cake going way back from childhood so when they heard Amazon had Yankee Doodle's they were ecstatic. Couldn't find them for a long time so I decided to get them a box to try. They were super excited, shipping took a couple days longer than usual and they finally arrived. When they arrived, doodles were boxed the same way as always...as far as the outer packaging, the picture is the same and the box. We thought we recalled them being in packs together but these came individually wrapped, you get 8 of them. We both decided to taste test and see if these were the same Yankee Doodle's we remembered and I wanted to see if the reviews here were true. Lots of people were saying they weren't the same... Well the family member ( The Yankee Doodle lover) said they tasted a bit different than what they remembered which was a dense dryer type of devil's food cake, also said the cream inside wasn't as thick or dense, but still seemed to like it. I tried it next and I thought it did taste like the old Yankee Doodle but moister, both the cake and the cream filling. I liked it a lot. I may have liked it a bit more than the old even. Since the shipment the Yankee Doodle lover has barely touched them, I ate about 2 or 3. So we both had doodles, the connoisser says they are different (still liked it but not as much) and my thoughts are they are the same but moister and I like them better. So it's up to you to decide if you want to give these a shot based on that. They give them three, I give them four.

Product was delivered in good condition, product was also fresh, and delicious, it's a childhood favorite that still has that great taste

I use to eat this cake when I was little they are not the same they taste nasty now and it took 3 weeks to get them , and the date on them will be bad first week of April .

Everything was wonderful the cake was great
