Blade holder has been inserted into the handle 90 degrees off the way it should be.
I did not originally notice in the picture, but as you can clearly see, the blade holder is inserted into the handle 90 degrees off from where it should be. It should be oriented such that the cutting edge of the blade is on the side of the tool that says "cut" so that you can easily determine from the handle colors which side will be cut. Also, which you cannot tell from the picture, both sides of the tool say "cut".It functions as-is. You just have to look carefully at the blade each time to ensure that the cutting edge is the direction you want. However, with a bit of work, you can disassemble the tool and orient the blade properly.

Buy overhead for a little bit more sharpness
It's a good tool with a diesel cutting head but I would suggest filing it a little sharper

Nice sharp tool, well built.
Good tool. Beats the heck out of the little plastic ones that come with a lot of jacks.

Weak spring
Not horrible, but I have to "hit" the wire multiple times to get it to seat in the punchblock.
