Small, light weight, easy to set up. I've had it going almost nonstop since we received it. Works perfectly. It's not being used in the normal way. Had a huge problem with fleas this year. Dog goop, bugbombs, traps just weren't doing the trick. Took the light and mounted it to the top of a cardboard box. That was layed on its side. Placed a aluminum baking pan inside and put a cup of water into the pan. I then put a few drops of dish detergent into the water. The fleas are attracted to the light. They jump to reach it and fall into the water. The dish soap keeps them from swimming out. It works great. No more fleas. Had to dump the pan twice because of the amount of dead bugs in it. Not just fleas. I would definitely recommend this light. For being so small. It's very bright and cost effective.

Mounted with Blutac on my curved monitor, weigh next to nothing. Gave me exactly what I was looking for in brightness, having 2 brightness settings is great. Housing does get a little warm, I may drill a few holes in the aluminum frame to vent a bit more but honestly doesn't need it depending on application. Solder points are clean from the power switch to the solid UV led pcb strip. The switch may be the most likely failure point, it is a bit flimsy but easy enough to replace if the switch ever does stop functioning. Would buy again, keep in mind this is actually UV not just producing purple light. The warmth is something to consider if your planning on using it to mount inside a pc case, not a big issue of you have good airflow.

I ordered this primarily to find lost arrows in the archery range after dark. I have a UV flashlight but it's a lot dimmer in comparison to this light. This light is much brighter than 40 watt 4 foot standard fluorescent black light fixture. You can use it to light up a small room like a bedroom. You can use this with a power bank, however, the power bank must provide at least 2 Amps of power. It's preferable to have a 4 battery one and use high capacity batteries if you expect it to stay lit an hour or more or not turn off intermittently on its own. It would turn off every 12-15 minutes or so and I would have to turn it off and on again. Not sure why this happened, so far it keeps working fine if I use an AC/DC. adapter (included) so I suspect the batteries in my power bank are pretty old. Makes finding arrows hidden in the grass incredibly easy. The reason I gave 4 stars is that the design is not very durable nor well thought out. The cord is rather flimsy, and the light heats up quite a bit which is not a good thing. It needs additional heat sink to dissipate this heat. I suspect that it won't survive for a very long time unless I alter the design somehow and install a heat sink. Also, having a bright white colour power cord that fluoresces in UV light is a pretty bad idea aesthetically. Black one would have been preferable. I will alter my review if it misbehaves in a near future

It’s about the size of a ruler so it’s pretty small, light and semi flimsy. The reason I docked two stars is due to 1: it arrived damaged (pictured) there’s about a two inch chunk missing out of it and 2: short chord/ decent light but not the greatest. I liked how it has 2 settings dim and bright (two photos of the alpaca for reference) I don’t have any posters or anything for black light I mainly purchased for the sake of black light makeup and also Halloween decor. This can be mounted and it comes with the pieces to do so. It’s USB chord but it also came with a plug adaptor to make things handy. The light itself gets warm very fast but I’m not sure If that’s normal for a black light since I have never owned one before. Updated: seller sent me a replacement for the damaged original item sent. The product Came defective, you Can’t push the cable in all the way into the AC Adapter if not it won’t work. A bit disappointed because if it wiggles for any little thing it will disconnect. Other than that light seems to be decent, not too strong though. Would of gave a better review if it wouldn’t have came defective. Bummer

Ordered this for my teenagers first big Halloween party. I needed something portable and light that would be very bright and high quality that wouldn’t break easily (considering the large amount of teenagers handling it and being in a dark backyard). This light works great! I used a portable battery pack for charging cell phones to power it. Very bright, lit up an entire section of our yard under some pine trees which looked awesome! Held up all night without dimming or anything. Fast forward 5 months and it still works great we just used it for a paranormal investigation in the caverns, state park and hotel in natural bridge Virginia!

This is a great little black light. It works just like I had hoped it would. My daughter has been able to make great works of art which look horrible until you flip the switch and the black light comes on and showcases the Art's brilliant colors. We have found it works best with black paper and neon crayons. We have also had good success with neon string which looks good in regular light be awesome under the black light.

This light stays cool. It worked great for my project involving cardboard and neon paints. The neon colors were shining and vibrant just as if I used a fluorescent black light. It is light weight which made it very versatile. There are two light settings, bright and low light. I would have liked to have an option of a black cord and fixture rather than white/silver, but I am still very pleased with this light.
