Awesome product, be sure to read and follow instructions
Excellent scraper -- I had one of those cheap wire brush scrapers that came free with my grill cover and then read about how dangerous they can be if they break off and get accidentally ingested. So I headed over to trusty 'ole Amazon, and came across this product with stellar reviews. After using it a few times now, I can definitely see why it's highly regarded. First off, this is a solid piece of wood, when you pick it up and handle it, you can feel the heft. Second, once it's properly conditioned, it's a perfectly customized scraper that is tailored to your specific grill. This is one thing I didn't realize at first -- I just used my grill cold and tried scraping away....big mistake. Read the directions, folks, and follow them! You need to soak the side you are going to use with food grade oil (there's two sides, so double the life!), fire up the grill till it's nice and hot, then turn it off. Now start scraping away, and as you do, the scraper will start to get worn down to match the pattern of your grill -- this is normal. One bit of advice is to take a look at your grill pattern and make sure that when you start your conditioning process that you take into account where the pattern will appear, and try to avoid getting a groove too close to the edge if that makes sense. Worthy addition to your grill-cleaning arsenal.
Great tool that really digs deep into the grates. Breaking it in correctly is very important, but once you get the grooves in place it actually "resharpens" itself with each use. I still go back in and finish with a wire brush, but this has really changed my grill cleaning routine for the better. I use it on a Weber Genesis with iron grates, at least 3 times per week.

NO bristle debris!
I was fed up with brushes deteriorating. Found this when looking for an alternate and wasn't too sure about it. I have used it all year now and am really liking it. It is forming notches on my cast iron grills. Keeps it nice and clean.I will continue to use this style and leave behind broken bristles.

Perfect addition to our 2-grill family
My brother-in-law had a similar one of these with only one side. This one is perfect for us because we have two grills (gas vs. charcoal) with different size grates. After a few uses, it's a perfect fit and another one is already on the way so I have a backup. We grill almost constantly and I can tell we'll get an entire BBQ season out of this baby.
