Rose not cherry. Also, the ingredients say 100% freezed dried cherry blossom. That's BS! It's packed with sugar. Cherry blossom is not super sweet in its own. With the cool sensation on the tongue, it probably has artificial sweetness also. I liked it but it's not 100% cherry blossom that it's being sold as.

Love love love
I buy these all the time to make my Sakura lattes. I love it! I have a frother wand and it does a good job mixing it in. No added sugar but is very sweet naturally. The color is a cute soft pink when mixed fully and is bright when first added to milk.

Low sugar low calorie
I like the taste, I make cold foam for coffee with it. Easy to mix and good price. It has 0 sugars! Very low calorie as well.

From Hong Kong.
I like it, but it is heavily, perfumey rose scented. Also I feel lied to; but I guess it's my own fault for not thinking to check first... This is sold from Hong Kong. Last time I checked, Hong Kong is not in Japan. While I have used it, and I like it (even though it does not taste like cherry blossom, which is the entire point); I do not trust food products from China. Especially when it's powders that you cannot verify whats in it, easily. So, might be safe, might not be; either way tastes like roses. Always check the seller first, I guess.

Wonderful ingredient
I've used this to make cherry blossom flavoured cocktails and all my guests love the taste as it's totally unique. There does seem to be a relatively high pectin content which meant that syrups are a bit thicker than desired but that's not really an issue with the product

Excellent quality, beautiful colour
I'd been wanting to make sakura mochi for ages and finally treated myself. This powder is very fragrant and just a half-teaspoon gives a beautiful pink colour to food. Very pleased with it!
