**Q: Does the system need to be plugged in to unolock with keylock pad?**
A: Thank you for your interest in this item. The charging cart does not need to be plugged in to use keylock pad, it is battery operated. In the event the batteries expire, you can use the 9V-battery rescue power source to gain access.

**Q: Is there the ability to remove some of the shelves? For instance, instead of having 30 ipad storage spots would it be possible to remove 15?**
