I know its frustrating when info is so hard to find. If you can't find the info that would be one reason NOT to buy from them. In this case, the back of the package says the serving size is 1 tsp (that is not a reasonable serving size). A reasonable serving size would be 1 TBS so the calorie count would be 12 X 3 (one tsp is 12 calories and 3 tsp = 1 TBS). There is no added sugar in this, **Q: Does this powder contain the seeds or just the pulp?** A: according to the advertizement copy and pasted here About the product Terrasoul Superfoods Organic Carob Powder, 16 ounces Certified Organic, Non-GMO, Earth Kosher, Gluten-Free, Vegan Lightly roasted to enhance its sweet chocolate flavor The pulp of the pod is sweet and rich. Use to replace Carob Powder for cocoa powder or chocolate in your recipes for a no-fat, caffeine-free option. 100% Money-Back Satisfaction Guarantee - We stand behind our products and offer a 30-day money back guarantee, backed by an outstanding customer service team. **Q: Is it tested for heavy metals?** A: I’m sorry I don’t know. Nor did I use it much. It makes a nice hot chocolate type cocoa drink. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great taste *by P***M on September 26, 2026* Great taste. A little sweet. Makes great hot “cocoa” and a banana and carob smoothie is pretty awesome too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tastes good *by S***H on September 23, 2026* I use this a lot, in smoothies and baking, and in stews sometimes. I can’t have cacao anymore. Though the flavor isn’t quite the same as cacao, it’s sweeter, and very satisfying. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than real cocoa powder? Quite possibly! *by A***P on June 6, 2026* I don't have good memories of the parent-suggested carob candy of my youth but this stuff is DELISH! I was wary of drinking real cocoa poweder (all those purported heavy metals) and gave this a whirl. I added some to my coffee, which was wonderful. And today I made a hot drink (water, tablespoon of carob powder and maple syrup, and whole milk), and I agree with the other customer who said they like it even better than cocoa! I'm (almost) there! ## Frequently Bought Together - Terrasoul Superfoods Organic Carob Powder, 1 Lb - Cocoa Powder Alternative | High in Fiber - Carob Chips - Baking Chips - 12 oz (Pack of 1) - Herbaila Carob powder, 1 lb.
