Well worth the price
If you're in the market for a good, sturdy and durable cast iron pot, you're in the right place. Ignore the negative reviews, they're from clueless people who don't know how to maintain their products.Cast iron vessels can be intimidating for a lot of people especially novices who just bought their first one. They need a different type of care compared to your conventional stainless steel or ceramic wares. This pan comes pre seasoned but a lot of people don't realize cast iron wares need to be seasoned and reseasoned after every deep clean or the rust will start to set in. They also need to be kept impeccably dry and stored away from moisture. You need to have that extra layer of oil to be baked in to prevent it from rusting.I bought the biggest 5.2 litre variant of this product and living up to it's high price tag I'm very impressed so far!The pot itself was very hefty as expected from it's cast iron constitution and the base was thick and very well made. There was mittens included in the box and the handles are very solid and made with durability in mind. The surface is grainy but it came preseasoned and performed like a non stick pan while showcasing the heat retaining capabilites of it's heavy cast iron make. Made all sorts of dishes and I'm very satisfied with the way it handled itself on the stove.Overall; if you're looking for a high quality and durable cast iron pot, look no further. It's well worth it's high price tag and with proper care and maintenance, it will easily last you for decades.

Disappointing
I recently purchased two Meyer cast iron pots, but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. After just one use, the pot already showed significant wear—either a layer seemed to come off, or it appeared rusted. This was surprising and concerning, especially for a cast iron product that should be durable and long-lasting.Additionally, while the product title claimed a 5L capacity, the actual size is closer to 4L, which feels misleading.Given these issues, I’ve decided to return both pots. I wouldn’t recommend this product based on my experience—it doesn’t meet the quality or reliability I expect from cast iron cookware.

Pot handle cracked, rusted i side / out n ordinary packaging
Ordinary packaging, should have used more bubble wrap to safe guard the product as the handle was cracked/ damaged and already rusted inside and out. Looks like a condemned product was shipped.

Absolutely extensible utensil
As a cast iron pab, this is an amazing product. As a Dutch oven, this just elevates it to another level. Loving this product for the price!
