The tape was easy to apply and works perfectly. So, I stuck the tape to the runner instead to sticking it on the floor first. This is a lightweight rug so it worked. But if you have a heavier rug, then maybe you should stick the tape to the floor first. Anyway, 40 yards goes a long way. If you mess up, just learn from your mistake and try again. The rug doesn't slip when I walk on it. I feel protected and secure now.

I have tried other tape to hold my rugs securely to the floor but they only disappointed me. But this tape really works. It keeps my rugs and runners where I want them with no slipping.

This was my 2nd roll and went to my parents house. Mom has hardwood floors and her bed likes to slide towards the wall. I was hoping to secure the carpet runner on the side of her bed, but this would not stick to it at all. Not sure if it was because the runner had a rubber backing, but I still thought it should have stuck. I was, however very impressed that it worked super great on the bottom of her plastic bed frame feet, securing her bed from sliding. I actually bought another tape, but no need. This one was not coming up. It didn’t work for one problem, but worked perfectly for the other.

The is very sticky and also easy to peel off if need be

The tape is really sticky which is great for keeping a firm hold on the carpet…the challenge is getting it flat without having it stick to your fingers and to itself while attempting to place is on the carpet. I’ve had to through away several strips because they were stuck together.

I have harwood (click plank) flooring and a plastic desk chair protector. It is not suppose to move! I ordered this tape in hopes that it would keep the mat in place. Well, after 3 days, it is holding very well. Right now can not say how it will be to remove, but the mfg's info says it will come up easily with no residue, so will have to go by that.

Our “rug on top of carpet” dreams almost dissolved…. until….I found this tape on Amazon!! We tried others…no luck. We even tried turning the rug sideways. Nope; It still wanted to bunch up, even without us stepping on it and looked ridiculous, even though it fit into my decor perfectly….when it was turned in the other direction.We put the tape on from corner to corner on the rug, plus across the top and bottom areas. That’s all it took to get perfection!! The part I dreaded was making sure we knew EXACTLY where to place the rug before we let it touch the carpet. No problem. But, it does take two people. At least. Plus, we had to gate Sophie out of the room, in case she messed us up by wanting to play with her toy.Highly recommend this tape!!! It took me way too long to find it and I have a drawer full of useless “rug” tape to prove it. But, we’re happy!!

Had a couple of throw rugs that slid around too much - put a couple of small strips on a tile surface and they DO NOT MOVE - PERIOD. I even used a little of this to re-attach some foil covered garage door insulation pads that were coming loose and they now DO NOT MOVE - PERIOD.
