Materials question
This chimney is advertised as being stainless steel. When it arrived I tested it with a magnet, which stuck firmly. So perhaps it is not truly stainless but the chimney works just fine. And I really don't care if it is stainless steel or not as long as it lasts as well as my previous chimneys (about 2 years) it will suit my needs.

awesome
Dudes this thing is just down right awesome as hell. its simple to put together and all you have to do is sit it on top of some paper on the grill or the ground throw some charcoal in it and light her up and boom. Wait til its white on top and its ready to go. Some of the hottest longest lasting charcoal ever.

Works great
Bought this a while ago and just used it the other day - worked great but if you're expecting it to stay pretty your going to be disappointed, the heat melted whatever shiny finish they put on it... but the charcoal it was heating up was perfect...

Works for me!
Easy to assemble, reasonable price point, and does the job it was designed to do.

What a nice product!
The best partner for my Sunday’s barbecues. The easy way to start up the fire with any kind of charcoal.

They shipped it without needed parts seems nice otherwise
Missing screws and nuts to attach handle to fire starter. Had to find my own screw and nuts. No response to email to vendor two weeks ago. Oh well I had some screws

I love this thing
I love this thing!!! So easy to start a charcoal fire and works every time. All the briquettes are the same temperature when you empty them into your grill. I learned about this from Alton Brown on HGTV on his show Good Eats.

No threads on nut
All-in-all it’s OK, however one of the nuts they included had no threads. Not going to return it. Will find my own useable one. Poor quality control or just a one-off, I don’t know, but the result was that a simple 2 minute job turned into a 45 minute ordeal.
