Grateful for the quick fix for my favorite headphones
I’ve had my sennheiser momentum 2 for about 10 years now and my original earbuds were falling apart. I researched a replacement piece and found this one. Although it can’t be compared to the original ones, it’s done its job by appearing brand new again. I got these headphones because not only did it provide noise cancellation but it had this feature where if you were hearing loud music, no one else can hear what you’re hearing around you. Unfortunately I’m not sure if that’s the case with this replacement piece headbuds. But nonetheless, I am very grateful I have found a replacement. The process of putting back in though took a very very long time. I had to ask my dad to help out and it wasn’t easy installation. But once it was in, it’s very secure and tucked in, there’s no way it gets out.The cushioning material is very soft but it’s not the authentic leather from the original earbuds. But like I said, I am grateful for the replacement piece and this will do for me for now.All and all, if you’re not picky and you want a quick resolution for your peeling or worn off earbuds, this will do its job as well!

Absolutely Brutal to put on
I have the M2. We’ll see how it goes now that I got in on, but ended up leaving the existing one on the other ear (that my dog didn’t damage as much) because why do it again if you can avoid it?! Watch the video, but the trick seems to be to stretch the top out horizontally to slip the edge in, then work your way around little by little. Don’t do it while you’re already in a shaky mood so you don’t take it out on others around you. We’ll see if it stay on, but seems like pretty good quality once on. With the design though, perhaps there’s no other way? Seems like making them a tiny bit longer would help.

Better replacements for the OG Momentums and match Ivory versions, beautifully with the dark brown.
I put these on the Original Momentums and as someone else mentioned, they are so much more comfy than the original, making the ear insert area just big enough. They ARE slanted in vs the original which I didn't know I'd like but they work well to tuck in the back of your ear and have the music i parallel to your year canals and shape.I honestly was going to buy new headphones as first gen Momentums had over ear cups that were still too small that would cause pain from the interior speaker parts. The other brands replacement pads out there I tried are way too large for this.. I ordered the brainwave and teleco and they look ridiculously large and leave too much open airness. These have more depth cushioning vs the standard momentum pads, so your ears don't hit the inside part of the cups, which was what made wearing my Momentums painful after than an hour. Sounds good if not better too and I think comfort and added physical depth really help in that.Buying a second pair in case these ever go out of stock, wear down or I give them away.

These are EXTREMELY hard to install -- nearly impossible.
It took me 30 minutes of frustration to install them. The video about installation is misleading and seems to be purposely so. It does not show the hard parts. First, the video shows the cover being put onto the headphone, but stops (at the 50 second mark) before the cover is completely on the headphone. The last pull to get it on is next to impossible, where you have to stick a finger in the remaining opening while not releasing the part that's already covered. Second, the video shows (after the 50 second mark) the seam being pushed into the slot that goes around the cover. You need a long thumb-nail, like the person in the video does (which I luckily have) in order to push the seam into the slot with your thumbnail. Even with a long thumbnail, the operation is hard and slow, since you accomplish only one thumbnail-width at a time and yet have to do it bit-by-bit around the entire seam.

Great low cost replacement for the deteriorating original ear pads
I installed these on a gen 1 momentum wireless headset. The pads are actually more comfortable than the originals. My ears would hurt after wearing the originals for a couple hours. The replacement pads are better feeling. The installation was not that hard just had to slowly work the replacement on. Start at the top and work your way around stretching the pad on to the frame and they will go on. Would recommend.

Install was hard for me
I've provided a picture of this new replacement vs an old worn out pad from my Wired Momentum 2 headphones. My headphones are the cream colored ones. The quality of these replacements is good and seems just as soft as the originals. The color is different. But I've had my headphones for so long though, maybe the color on the old pair has changed. You can see the color difference in the phot and judge for yourself if you like the color of the new one.The video on Amazon of someone replacing the pads looked so straightforward. But they've must have done it a million times before! I've never done this before, and it was extremely hard. The slot in the headphones that you need to slip the edge of the new pad around and into is very narrow. And as I was going around the pad using my thumbnail to push the edge of the pad into the slot, it gets harder and harder. I had to really stretch the edge of the pad to get it to go around. I was afraid that I'd tear it, but I don't think it teared. Eventually I got it on. And then I went back around with my fingernails to push the edge of the pad in a bit further. The second pad was a bit easier, but still not easy. They're on, but I feel like I'm going to need to be really careful as I put the headphones on/off my head as I'm not super confident they're on that well since I really stretched out the edges of the pad.So the product is OK, and they fit the Wired Momentum 2 and the color works with the cream version, but install was hard and I'm not sure how long they'll stay on and last due the install challenges.
