Easy To Use & Bugs Stay Out
It keeps the bugs OUT and the horizontal zipper slides easily to get in and out quickly if needs be. There is also a small sleeve/pocket above the zipper if you're like me and wear glasses, this is a must have! Setup is fairly simple and intuitive, it's rather roomy inside, and at just 15oz it is a perfect fit for me. The ends easily cinch closed to stop bugs entering there... I did have to rig some paracord to connect with the hooks on the ends to pull it tight. If it's not pulled tight, the nets sags, but I'm not convinced that's a big deal... just comes down to personal preference. When I weight it, it comes out to 15.5-16oz ...not a big deal, just sharing. Pictures are of my son and me both trying it out.

Kept bugs out
Early September myself and my partner took our Hummingbird Double Hammock out to Ice House Canyon, in the Cucamonga Wilderness. Weather was around 72, and fairly humid. Lots of bugs swell there. It was vastly large enough for us - we are both 5’2 and about 125Lbs. & our hammock is a small double.Set up was ok. We had a difficult time figuring out how to secure the top line (that held the net up), to the tree? It seemed as thought you wrapped each end around the tree then simply (Open) hooked it to the line. There was no ther connector?? And the problem was, that did not pull it taunt, which is what we needed to hold the hammock up. I did my best to find pictures, reviews and videos alike but no luck there. I did find a good video that covered every other aspect of putting it up, pretty thoroughly, but it skimped right through the one part I needed to see. We ended up tying it around the tree. Which took away from its “hassle-free” ability to put it up. I’d love an in-depth video on how to do that please. I’d be happy to find out that I am simply clueless and there is a better way.As far as it’s functionality- superb. We we were both in the hammock, completely surrounded and secured by the net, no bugs or spiders came in. We were in the hammock for about 3 hours. We knocked out! It IS pretty large, compared to others, as far as taking up space in the pack but that’s where we chose to place our values. Solid net, that doesn’t rub up against us and is easy to get in and out of.

I love these products so much I came back and bought ...
I received the serac hammock and strap combo in my cairn monthly subscription box. Eno was always top brand in my mind but SO expensive. Serac has matched them if not gone above and beyond for a little less! I love these products so much I came back and bought the bug net. The company is small but solid. I just also purchased their matching rain fly. I cannot wait to use my entire serac setup. I am very happy with my purchases from this company! Highly recommended for lightweight but sturdy camping and backpacking gear!!

One Year On
I don't think I've ever had a piece of gear I've had to spend more time fixing after getting back from camping until I picked this up. Both zippers have broken, teeth from the zippers have broken off, one of the ridgeline carabiners broke setting it up like normal a few months back and the netting itself is just too delicate for any longevity. It's fine for the price but there are better designed products in this price range.Edit: Serac helped sort this out.

It looks like it should be easy to set up
I just received this net. I pulled it out of the packaging and it is exactly what I thought it was going to be. I will be using this net later in the month. It looks like it should be easy to set up.

Very pleased with this purchase!
This mosquito net works great! I took it backpacking and aside from the few bites I got while on the trail I didn't get any additional bites while I was sleeping in my hammock. The set up is pretty intuitive and the zippers are really smooth. I was concerned that the zippers might get stuck on the net like some of my friends have warned me about but this mosquito net did not have any issues with that!Very pleased with this purchase :)

Bugs denied.
Worked perfectly, keeping out all bugs. Only change I saw afterwards was the zipper opening, wished curved like a smile instead of straight.

super easy to use
This bug net is a lifesaver! Incredibly lightweight, packs down tiny (about a liter?) with its own compression sack, super easy to use. It's roomy enough to still move around and sit up. The mosquitoes and biting flies have been a nightmare in Washington this year, and this net has made hammock camping an option despite the bug issue.
