Initially I was very upset, as they would not snap on over the metal rails without breaking. Then I read about boiling them in water for 10-15 seconds. Then they EASILY snapped onto the rails without breaking.

My round stools with metal bottoms were scratching the hardwood floors. The chair glides that were originally on the stools cracked and fell off, leaving exposed metal that scratched my floors. I was thrilled to find the Breuer Chair Glides! They solved my problem. I loved the tip about boiling the chair glides before using them. They went on easily and molded to the round metal tubing on the stools. Expensive, but worth the price. Thanks for this great product. I'm very pleased!
