The last lemon squeezer we bought on Amazon claimed to be stainless steel but corroded around the holes after a year or so revealing a chrome plated device cast of mystery metal. When the hinge pin fell out a week or so back, we ordered this one. Parts of this one are thin in places that don't hurt the structural integrity; thin enough that it couldn't possibly be made of cast, pot metal. It has a heavy, substantial feeling. The handles are solid. My opinion could change with time but my initial assessment is that this is a solid, well made squeezer. A magnet won't stick to it so it doesn't appear to be just shiny steel.

I love this thing!!! It's super heavy duty not like the ones you find at Walmart, or Target. I use this for my lemons, limes, tangerines. It's great! It was so helpful while making guacamole the other night. I would definitely recommend. I, thinking of buying this for my inlaws. My father in law loves to cook, and could totally get used to this. Just be careful if you drop it. It is very heavy but super sturdy.

Great Lemon Press. Stainless steel and seems built to last forever. It came in a nice velvety bag, and that was inside a box. That makes it an extra nice gift since it will be easy to wrap. The bag will also keep it quiet in the picnic basket. This thing feels very strong, I will probably use it to tenderize meats too, since I could never bring myself to buy a hammer when a jar or frying pan would do. But this is much nicer, and the curved bottom should do a great job on anything that needs pounding. ..

This press seems sturdy enough except for what another reviewer termed “slop” on the hinge. I looked to see if I could tighten the hinge but there is no visible screw or anything to do so. It works well, storage bag is dumb, but overall it’s a good press.

I looked forever for a stainless steel lemon squeezer that didn't cost an arm and a leg, finally found it. It is SOLID! I have small hands so squeezing the biggest lemons can't be done one-handed but it does a great job. Best to hand-wash but can be run in the dishwasher.

The product broke within three weeks of usage. Don’t buy

This thing is huge! First thing I thought of when I opened it is I could put a fricken grapefruit in there lol. I mean you could probably knock someone out with this thing. Seems decently sturdy but is a little loose around the screw/connector. It will do the trick but wish it didn’t take up so much room. Don’t know how long this will last.

Disappointed. I bought this product because I wanted stainless steel. Granted, I do not have a problem squeezing lemons with it, but I am not happy with the design of the product. Maybe it’s just me, but one of the handles is openly hollow and traps water when you wash it. I am the official dishwasher in my house, and I struggle DAILY to lay this lemon squeezer in a position on the rack where it will dry completely and not hold water. I know, it’s a little thing, but honestly, for me it’s a big thing. I like all my dishes to be dry before I put them away. I get a little miffed when I do my best to place the lemon squeezer in a position where it will dry completely and only to find it dripping water when it’s time to put it up. This thing has tried my patience far too long. I’m ready to find a new design.
