How well does this work with laptop keyboard?

I assume you are asking about using a laptop with a mouse or trackball rather than the built in touch pad. If so, I don't know why it wouldn't work just as well as with a regular keyboard. Basically, it is just providing support to your arm to align it with your hand on top of the mouse. If you are planning to use it with the laptop touch pad, that might be a bit cumbersome, just because of the usual placement of the touch pad in front of the keyboard in the middle.

I have a laminated wood desk and this product slides all over the place. Does anyone have a good solution for this?

I have a glass surface but I don't mind that it slides around. You could always get paint some liquid latex on the bottom of it, let it dry/set completely, and it'll give the base more grip on any surface.

I had major wrist/ulna surgery years ago. I use a vertical mouse, how much pressure does this wrist pad put on your arm? Is it hard or soft?

The teal/green part is squishy gel. It's soft. I personally do not feel pressure on my arm but my office desk and chair are set up that way.

Would I have to buy a mouse pad to rotate the mouse on since this just supports my wrist?
