I bought this to replace an Anova which didn't last 2 years. On principle I didn't want to buy another. But the Anova is a lot easier to use. One negative for me is that the Brevo doesn't come with a box, making it a lot harder to store. The Anova has a nice box which goes on the shelf next to the vacuum sealer. The Brevo comes with the side clip attached as opposed to the Anova which has a slip on side clip. Since i cook in a cooler with a hole in the lid, I had to do some dismantling to get rid of it. This is certainly a step down from the Anova in ease of use and a lot slower to get to temperature. By the time this breaks i expect to have forgiven Anova and will probably replace it with their latest.

Plastic parts
It was a pretty decent price point, just disappointed at the plastic parts the impeller and the impeller cap. both were plastic, the impeller housing cap is already broken housing cap is already broken. For the times I used it, and I used it a lot the heat element work great, the impeller could have circulated the water a little bit better.

I bought this Sous cooker in January this year but didn’t get time to test it until just now (May 6, 2018). I plugged it to the outlet but didn’t see the power on. I thought my outlet must be short circuit, so I tried to plug my blender to see if it works. It wasn’t my outlet, it the new Sous which I purchased in January 2018 but didn’t bother to test it when it arrived. The issue is that I cannot return it as it is over 30 days. Don’t buy this brand or you will be sorry for it!!!!

Five Stars
Have had it a few months now, done long (over 48hr) and short cooks. A fabulous kitchen tool.

Finicky
Great you can take it apart but when u do you have to reline the water fan/ Turner correctly. Have used it about 6 times now. Tonight it wigged out and took my water temp from set temp of 130 to 190. Took it out / unplugged it. Reset it and worked fine after that. Will not buy again.

Great quality meats
I purchased this for my husband and he loves it. The brisket he made was amazing. Just so easy to set and go. The only con, and I've read this on other sous vide products, is that it appears parts of the material are already rusting? We will be interested to see how this holds up as time goes on. So far we have used it 2x.

Great cooker that died after less than three months
Just getting started with sous vide and didn't want to spend too much only to find out that I didn't like food cooked this way. Well, I LOVE food cooked this way, and I'm delighted with this immersion circulator. Everything I've made so far has turned out exactly the way it's supposed to. The Brevo cooker is easy to use, small, easy to store, and does just what it's supposed to do. I don't think I'll need to upgrade for a long time. I can't imagine that the much more expensive Anova and Joule brands can do any better at the simple job of heating water to a specified temperature and circulating it around the food. Just delighted.-------------------The paragraph above was my five-star review, posted about a month after I bought this item. I do love sous vide cooking, but I regret to tell you that this cooker failed after less than three months. The thermostat stopped, and it would start heating the water and keep going, way past the set temperature. I ruined three steaks because I was accustomed to being able to "set-and-forget". I just happened to walk past it about an hour later and saw that it was cooking them at 177 degrees rather than the 139 degrees I had set it for. Even as I watched, the temp moved to 178 degrees. We have hard water here and I thought it might be caked with calcium, so I cleaned it as well as I could, but that didn't help. Sous vide cooking is great, but this particular cooker didn't last long.
