These are fine, what I expected. The small rubber pads can slide off if you need them to. That’s either a feature or a bug depending on your perspective. I’m happy with them.

Best clamps I've ever used
Excellent quality, so much better than the cheap harbor freight ones I was using before. The combination of the ratchet back and screwed tightener makes a secure fit and small adjustments really easy.
