I must admit I am happily surprised with the BumperBib Rear Bumper Protector. I've purchased it for my new Dodge Journey Crossroad 2020 and the fit is perfect. The protector comes in a convenient reusable plastic zipper bag for storage, if needed. Having said that, the protector is made of think material, similar to your car summer mats, with a soft rubber underline which easily folds back. I just had to slide the smaller side of the protector underneath my truck tray, align the hole with the latch, and that's it. I just have to unfold it over my bumper and fold it back when finished. You can also roll it back and use the Velcro but for me it's easier and more convenient to fold it up. Since, as I said, they are similar to a regular mats, cleaning is the same. Bottom line, price/quality made this a great purchase for me.

I saw this advertised on TV and thought it would be good for my brand new Volvo XC90.It is high quality.As a generic, I did not expect it to fix perfectly. The wide end was the perfect width to cover all exposed parts of the bumper. The Velcro game glued on to the wrong side. It was glued to the wide end which is what I was using to protect the bumper. I used the narrower side to anchor it inside the car. The cut out for the hatch latch is not in the right place as a result. So I added my own Velcro, but it would not adhere to the carpet inside the car. But placed it under the vinyl mat I had in the back seemed and that seems to hold it ok.Overall, it is a good product, but don't expect a generic to exactly match any particular car.

I'm impressed, my Bumper Bib will work just fine on our new Accord and looks as though it will do just what I wanted it to and what it is designed to do. One thing to remember for anyone looking at buying this, it's a universal fit so no - it may or may not fit your vehicle like a glove but I can assure you it will fit. It's flexible enough that it will fit the contour of your trunk without any issue. I install mine by lifting the spare time rigid piece and layed it under it leaving it loose enough that it lays over the sill and flips over the bumper just fine. It's a great product and avoids the issue of sticking some type of bumper guard on your painted bumper that will be an absolute bi*ch to remove.

Got this so my dogs would not scratch up my bumper on my new 4Runner. Works great just flip it up when not using. Also keeps groceries from slipping all over back.

When I travel, I have a heavy suitcase and it is difficult to get the luggage into my trunk. So, I ordered this bumper protector so that I wouldn't scratch the paint on my car. It works fine.

The concept is great, and the quality of the product is great, but I can't understand why on earth they designed it with a hole. When you place it correctly in the trunk of your car, the part that goes over the trunk threshold, if it's called that, has a big hole that exposes the part on that threshold that the trunk lid latch locks on to. Yesterday, while trying the BumperBib out, my folding power chair snagged onto an edge of the hole and my chair was dragged over that u-type clamp. As I lowered the chair, the BumberBib came with it, but not realizing that the chair and the bumper of my car was being badly scratched. I didn't realize that until after the fact. There is NO need for having that hole in this product. Now I require body work done to the trunk of my car, plus repaint parts of my folding power chair. Either I cover up that hole in the BumperBib or return it. You might say I'm royally upset.I honestly can't recommend this product unless you do something to cover up that hole. That $44.99 investment was to protect the very things that got damaged. Some investment.

The material looks great but is very narrow. It’s easy to cut to the right length but getting a really application is challenging. The narrowness of the trim is a drawback when pulling off the tape to expose the sticky side. Getting the trim to adhere around the end of the door takes a lot of effort.
