what is the capacity of this pot in ounces/cups?

Filled up to the line marked "4" is 8 ounces. (The "2" line is 4 ounces.) We use this to make a single or double espresso. If you go over the metal band, you can get another 3 or 4 ounces. I measured with water and a measuring cup, so you must remember crema takes up some of that space.

Will this fit the mr.coffee ECM270?

I don't know. It is a one cup carafe, which in theory should fit most coffee machines with coffee dripping from above. It fits well my machine
