This design, while giving you great performance, will eventually have valve seating issues and compression loss. (Broken engine)Currently, the only way to repair the damage caused by coking is the removal and professional cleaning of the valves by a qualified mechanic or the dealer.This repair costs many thousands of dollars, and will return again as no real " repair " is done, only cleaning.A proper catch system will keep harmful contamination from entering the engine and "coking" will be greatly reduced allowing longer trouble free operation.I am a self taught mechanic with nearly 30 years of automotive repair experience, and I've seen virtually all of the snake oil fixes over the years, claiming to "clean " an intake system.I must caution you against using any type of chemical cleaning agents in an attempt to remove coking deposits in a running engine, as damage will almost certainly occur.The only real way to keep the intake clean is to never allow dirty oil and water inside of the engine in the first place.Buy this kit for your modular engine and enjoy the benefits of an engine that has been set up to properly handle oil and water residues.It works, so do it before your engine has some serious issues.
