LOVE this light! I just remolded my extra Bathroom and wanted it to have a 1930’s vintage look, this light was perfect! Great quality on the finished and the lil’ ribbed detail on the cover is what sets this apart from other school house lights! BUY IT!

Beautiful little light! This schoolhouse light replaced a horrible, too bright, integrated LED light that was previously installed. Looks great in the space and I couldn't be more happy with the result! That being said, installation was challenging- you have to switch to the universal mounting plate unless you already have one (holes are lined up different than standard older ones, and you will probably need longer fine-threaded mounting screws than the 1 1/4" ones that are included- maybe get 1 3/4" or longer if your box is recessed in the ceiling. Also, to make the glass shade more secure, cut down those 1 1/4" screws with bolt cutters (sand down the cut edge) and use them with the cap nuts that are included because the included threaded pieces they have with the light will not secure the glass shade properly. All in all- happy with purchase, but be prepared to do some modifications to install. Looks just like the photo- having trouble uploading photos, will try later.

I have been looking for a replacement for our builder boob lights in our upstairs hallway. These look like a much finer light than the price tag. They were easy to install. I was worried the light would be too muted by the milk glass cover but it’s a bright and diffused light. Love them!

I love the vintage look of this fixture. The milk glass shade still allows for plenty light. The only thing is the screws that hold the globe on are too short. I'm afraid it's going to fall. Will have to make some kind of adjustment.

this is the worst light fixture I have ever installed. flimsy metal, every component was absolute poorest quality. the globe didn't fit with out modifying the metal on the fixture. If this fixture cost 1/3 of what it did I would still be unhappy with it but I wouldn't have taken the time to review it.

The milk glass shade is stunning! Its design and quality are exactly as it appears. The housing and hanger are good enough quality, and the led light kit inside is nicely designed with magnets to hold it to the housing. I wish they were larger to fit the size of the shade better. These lights are bright enough and can be placed on a dimmer switch if desired. The bigger problem and reason for my 2 star deduction is there are no instructions and worse, the included mounting screws are not long enough if you have recessed wiring. It’s interesting and nice they included a round mounting bracket but insufficient screws. I have not tried attaching the heavier shade to the base but others have had to buy additional screws for that too. Needless to say I have to wait to finish this project I already started. Frustrating

First off, this is a very attractive light - and looks much more expensive than it is. The quality is, well, okay. I was disappointed in the short screws used to mount the light to the ceiling. They are actually a bit too short to fit if your ring is mounted absolutely flush with your junction box. I got around this by not screwing the ring down tight to the junction box, and just letting the pull of the screws through the mount against the ceiling hold it up. It works fine, but why not just add another 1/4 to the screws? They are made to adjust either way. The only other thing is I wish there were either a rubber ring around the inside of the glass lip where the small screws hold it up, or the screws had rubber covers. The glass is not in danger of falling, but there's almost a grinding of the edge of the glass lip when you're adjusting the tightness of the screws and spinning around the glass to the desired position. I know that rough/fragile glass lip is resting on those metal screws and it bugs me, but isn't that big of a deal for the money.

Beautiful and easy to install, I did it myself. It took me a little longer because I think my ceiling was uneven and on of the screws was short. Sorted it out in the end. Happy with it!!

This light looks fantastic, and the quality is great - 5/5 for both. However, like many others said, the screws were too short to mount the fixture. It took a bit of extra work to get new screws. It was also a bit difficult to ensure that the glass shade was flush and level. After a bit of tweaking, it looks fantastic! Easy to wire too. I’m happy with this purchase for the cost.

These are beautiful lights. Very nice brass metal color, not orangey like I’ve had to return in the past. The white glass has no imperfections. Lovely lights for my kitchen. I bought two. Very happy with my purchase.

Love!! I have one above my kitchen sink and one in my hallway. Packaged very nicely and securely. They’re bigger than i thought but i didn’t measure them so that’s my bad! They look great and give off a cozy and homey vibe.
