Avoid these at all costs! They are beautiful towels and I was excited to get them for the purpose of machine embroidery. As always, I pre-wash all cotton towels prior to embroidery in case there is shrinkage. Get this - these shrank to a wrinkled 9.5" x 19" mess when I followed the laundry instructions on the tag! There is no way I can use them. i'm posting a picture of one of the gray/white prior to washing next to a white one that just came out of the laundry after following the manufacturer's instructions. They are going back as fast as I can get them to the post office. Avoid!

So these were beautiful towels right out of the bag...until you wash them. Now, I understand that it is completely my fault for not reading the care instructions, but who would have thought that a 100% cotton kitchen dish towel would need dry cleaned, or washed in cold water/no heat?! After one wash, these towels shrunk completely in half, and the fabric texture is “shrunken”. So not practical for actual everyday use.

Once washed these towels shrink up and completely lose their shape. I ordered the variety color pack.....I washed the grey towels before using. They were the same size as the white towel (from the same pack) pictured in photo.

These towel shrunk to almost wash cloth size! Looked really nice until washed!!!!

Awful, washed them right away and they shrunk and look completely awful. Would not recommend buying these. They went right in the trash.

Dryclean only dish towels - really? Wish I had seen the review about shrinkage before I ran these in the wash. They are shriveled up to half their original size and not even passable as a burp cloth or rag. I'm annoyed that I was fooled into buying these, but I got a good laugh when I saw them emerge from the washing machine. Not a $15 laugh, though.

These towels shrink and lose shape when washed. They have zero absorbency; all they can do is push liquid around on a surface.
