These are better than you expect.
This pickup blew me away. I have it in a squire jazz bass made in China. I tried Quarter Pounders, but quickly took them back out. The sound tech at my church asked if I had put an active pickup in my bass. I have gotten so many comments about how great the sound is. You won't really get hard driving low's or crisp highs but the low mids and mid-range bite through the loudest guitar you can imagine. Hopefully they make these in a p-bass style because I will definitely be buying them.

Works great, it’s was direct fit for my odd name 30+ bass and a nice upgrade from the original pick ups.

I don't play bass much anymore but For a project I decided to swap these in for the factory pickups. Makes a huge difference.
