Kind of heavy . It may drag down your turntable depending on what kind you have . It is made very well . You may not be able to close the lid on your player with it in use . It is a good value for the money . Very easy to use . It might be to big for some record players .

Great weight!

First thing I did was weigh it, even though it felt to be the expected weight in my hand. Product page says 378g (13.3oz), I weighed it on an inexpensive kitchen scale which measured it as 382g (13.4oz.), so that's perfectly fine -- better a little over than under. It fits all of my turntable spindles just fine -- not too tight, not loose at all. For those who complain about its height (meaning you can't fully close your dust cover with clearance while the weight sits on a record), the fault is yours for not doing your own due diligence. The product height is specified, so you have no excuse. It fits my newest turntable (pictured) with plenty of clearance, as well as my others, including a Sony PS-X600 I bought in the 80's. I saw one review here that trashed the item because of the bubble level. Conceivably it may have been mounted askew on that person's weight, but you could easily test it -- perform your own calibration test. The bubble level on mine works just fine, but I didn't really buy it for that. Instead, I use a level that has two perpendicular tubes in the same plane, which is more convenient and easier to view than the small circular bubble this weight is equipped with. All in all, I'm pleased with my purchase and would recommend it.

Nice weight really adds a noticeable difference in sound quality.

Works great. Level is accurate. I bought 2 for turntables. Must admit I also bought another brand that wasn't as tall for turntables with less headroom in the lid.
