Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends: The Complete Series (DVD)

Brings back memories of my kids when they were littles. I miss it so much. I watch not just for nostalgia, but it’s also a great show.

Loved the show as a kid and really brought back nice nostalgia. I was impressed that it also include the movie destination imagination so I will give them point points for that. When I originally bought this complete set. It was a bit on the pricey side but now I noticed it’s going back-and-forth with fluctuation prices so my advice is to snag it when it’s on sale. But as I can tell it has every episode plus the movie included so that’s awesome!

I received my copy today and I'm overjoyed to finally have the full series available on DVD. To those complaining about Bluray, please stop. Cartoon Network's track record, while not as fickle as Disney's, is hit or miss and it seemed really unlikely this would happen at all. But it did and not supporting this because it's not Bluray makes it more likely that there wouldn't be any subsequent releases. Because if it didn't sell well the first time why do it again? That's that tends to rule these decisions. It would be nice down the line, but the fact that it happened at all seems like a miracle. The entire series is thankfully all there, ready to watch. While I wasn't a fan, it really sucks the Ed, Edd, & Eddy release is lacking in that regard. Even if it's Mills Creek barebones, I have the show and I love it. The disc holder is not connected to the case, but there's no problem structurally. To anyone worried because of the extra spot, there's only 11 discs, not 12. Looks like they just didn't bother with a special 11 disc holder. I'm glad I can dive back into this series again whenever I feel like it. It's such a fun show!

It comes with every episode including the special. The disc trays are not very good, so replace the case if you value this and want it to prevent it from getting scratches. Which it may come with a few minor scratches when opening it on the front of the discs, but it should be fine. Still a very good and the more we invest, the more lesser released series we may get. ChalkZone maybe?????

Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends is the best Cartoon Network show ever created (at least in my opinion). It has a certain special charm to it that’s always made me feel like I’ve known it my whole life. I love all the characters and episodes of the series, even the ones that are disliked by most fans, but I respect those fans’ opinions. And I love the series so much, I love to imagine there being a movie that takes place after the series. I wrote a fanfiction based on that idea on the Fanfic Wiki. The first 3 seasons have the same features and menus as the original DVDs that were released on March 6 2007, September 11 2007 and November 12 2014 respectively, including trailers for DVD releases that were long ago, but I suppose that’s great for nostalgia. If you’re a Foster’s fan like me, then this is for you! It doesn’t include the Bloo ending version of “Race for Your Life Mac and Bloo,” however. But it’s still worth the watch. Back in 2009, sometime after the series ended, I was confident that Cartoon Network would release the complete series on DVD one day just like The Powerpuff Girls. After a while, I thought I was wrong. But it turns out I was right all along back then! lol This show will NEVER get old.

Since I have not watched the dvds yet, I am rating this based strictly on the show and will edit once I've watched the dvds. I loved this show prior to having my son. When he was in about 2nd or 3rd grade, I introducted him to Foster's Home and he was enamored with series. Since streaming has been on the rise and the license agreements do not always guarantee that your favorite shows or movies will stay on these sites, my now 16 year old, decided that we should start collecting the phyical copies of our favorites. I wholeheartedly agreed with this sentiment and was super excited to find the complete series.

A few of the discs were scratched up but haven’t noticed any issues with play back so far. We’ll update when finished with series

It's real! I thought I would never see this show again and it arrived at my door step. It came complete and sealed! All discs are in beautiful condition and I can now rewatch a childhood favourite!
