I agree with sxmr on this.Leakproof, lightweight, insulated, dishwasher proof. Perfect size. The lock is useful.The only downside is the spring in the lid. The lid can misalighn by a fraction, causing it to not close without more pressure or adjusting - this follows with the opening.Let me clarify, it is absolutely fine most of the time, but its something to keep in mind.Check it out once it arrives and if it seems the bottle isnt up to your standard then exchange it or get a different one.Its a fantastic bottle, its only hinge bolt on mine that doesnt seem as tightly measured as it could be.Worth the money though

I am doing this a year later. This bottle is the best! I have a ADHD/ASD child and this bottle is the only one I have found that survived them! No mold build up easy to remove all parts to clean! It has been dropped thrown and so much more! No leaks or anything! I would 100% recommend this bottle and I will be buying it again ready for next school year

Nice and compact water bottle when you don't want to carry around a bigger litre bottle. Been dropped a few times and still fine. I find it doesn't leave a taste to water like some other plastic bottles do.

Good quality and has lasted well! Easy to use and keep clean. Leak-proof and excellent design.

The photo shows a waterdrop bottle on the left that my daughter has had for 2 years. To the right is the ion 8 which we've not even had for a week. The quality is honestly appalling. It's dented, scratched, leaks and doesn't keep drinks cold. The waterdrop bottle has only recently started to show signs of wear afyer 2 years so will be repurchasing a waterdrop one.I'm so annoyed as ion 8 was highly recommended on all my Google searches. I've purchased 4 bottles for my children and now I know i've wasted so much money.

Love Ion8 bottles. Sturdy, leakproof and easy to wash, and you can buy either whole replacement tops or replacement seals for the tops as well which helps avoid throwing a whole bottle away when they get old.

Lasted my son a whole year for his school water bottle, despite a few dents in the bottom where he has dropped it there are still no leaks and it washes amazingly and keeps his water cool all day! Will be repurchasing for the next school year

Sadly wish I hadn’t bought this bottle. This make always gets rave reviews so I figured I was buying a great product but frustratingly it leaks when I drink from it - albeit from the “air hole” but surely this shouldn’t happen! I’ve obviously used it so sadly stuck with this bottle now.

Broken after 3 months use

Too small, lid is cheap and loose, doesn't seal. the design allows water to trickle through the air breather hole and spills water on your face. I should have bought a better quality one. Stay away from this junk.

Terrible, awful smell despite washing multiple times. Didn't get time to send it back in time. Dints easily

Loved this bottle so much I purchased it twice. Someone stole the first one from my desk at work. My sister recommended it to me. Said it was the best water bottle she’s ever had. She has this one and the insulated version. She was right. Love it.
