Arrived today. Much sturdier than I anticipated. Pipes are painted metal, not PVC. Pipes that go on the top rim are covered in what I think is called "closed cell foam". (It is the same material as pool flotation noodles.) The foam makes the top edge of the pool comfortable and safer. The vinyl is quite heavy. // We set it up on a piece of plywood, then covered the plywood with yoga mats to protect the vinyl and make it softer when sitting. The pool is mainly for our giant breed dog to cool off. The only product negative is the instructions are minimal. Here is what I learned. In the box you will find two packages of long pipe pieces (with closed cell foam around most of the length of each pipe). These two packages with four pipes each appear identical, but they are slightly different diameters. Mark one set so you will know which bag they came from. The two sets of poles/pipes are slightly different diameters. Note that on each pole the foam is closer to the edge at one end. Taking one pole from each bag, pair the poles by putting the two ends together where the foam is closest to the edges. One end will fit inside the other end. Do that for all four sets of poles. Each pole (with two pieces snapped together) will be 48" long. Then put the poles in the top edges of the pool. The rest of the assembly is quite obvious. One other comment-- if you order the pool in green, note that it is a pleasing spring grass green, not florescent green.

I bought this for my son a couple of months back and he is obsessed! He's a water baby so I knew it would be a hit with him. Setting it up took about 20 minutes. I struggled with sliding the poles covered in foam into the vinyl. TIP: Hold the foam in place while pulling the vinyl towards you. I was worried about the dog getting in there and tearing the pool but it's held up. No leaks or tears. The only thing is, I didn't realize you couldn't pick the color. I only realized it once it was delivered and to say I was shook was an understatement. Yup, my baby boy has a pink paradise now! Perfect size! He's on the bigger size for a 3-year-old but it's more than enough room for him. I can't lie—I've hopped in a couple of times. Gotta have quality bonding with my baby. Definitely recommend it!

I was making a gift for my Granddaughter’s 4th birthday. Well of course my plan didn’t go to plan and I needed a gift for her in a hurry. I knew she wanted this pool so I ordered it on the Thursday before her birthday party on Saturday. It said it could be delivered on Saturday. I was saying prayers hoping it would arrive on time. About 2 hours before the birthday party the Fed Ex driver, seeing all the yard decorations, dropped of the pool and looked into the sidelight and pointed to the pool, knowing it was pretty important. I was so happy to see the package arrived when it did. My Granddaughter was very happy with the pool and it helped make her party a success. I don’t have a review of the pool as it was going back to her home to be used there. But one of the other children at the party said her cousin got one of the pools and loved it. Hoping my granddaughter feels the same.

My toddler loves it even though we ordered the green and it came pink. Very sturdy and simple to put together.

We bought this little pool Feb 2020. It has been filled every single day since it was assembled the day we got it, and it is nearly July. We bought it as a "pond" for our backyard ducks. So it is full 24 hours a day, every day of the week. They splash, jump, swim, rake the bottom with claws and bill, dirty (horrilbly) and it has held up. I have to clean it every 3-4 days, but it cleans up extremely well and always looks like new once I am done and it is refilled. I would have given it 5 stars all around, but we did have one thing bust. The valve to empty the pool came completely off. My husband believes it was the way in which he pulled on the plug, since I had unplugged it many times to clean it. This happened maybe two months after our purchase. It is still usable for us, since all I did was place a piece of 3mm plastic under the hole and above the hole (kind of acts like suction) and place a paving stone on the top and if it leaks, it is soooo very slow and negligible. Despite that, I still highly recommend this for a family with small kids. I highly doubt it would be left up all day, every day, and that may be why the plug weakened and eventually came off.

Ordered Green and received Pink. Other reviews I read, also said they got pink instead of the color they ordered. Very disappointed, but my granddaughter had already seen it and I couldn’t make her wait while returned and gamble being sent the wrong color again. It was simple to assemble. The quality seems to be pretty good. Just didn’t want a big PINK pool sticking out in the yard, that’s why I ordered green, to blend in more.

I was desperate to find a decently priced kids pool when it was announced that our local pool would be closed this summer due to the pandemic. I searched for weeks and everything was sold out. Finally, I came across this pool and while the price was great, I was nervous about the size of the pool for my 7 and 3 year olds. After putting it together(which was an easy one person job) I was pleasantly surprised at the size and sturdiness. My kids LOVE it! Easy to drain, easy to clean and fill up! I highly recommend this for anyone stuck at home during this quarantine!!

I bought this pool for our water loving fur baby after the plastic kiddie pool cracked. It's super easy to put together-took maybe 10 minutes? The lining is thick enough that the dog's nails don't scratch it or poke through it. The drain makes it easy to empty the water out and it's light enough that I can pick it up and flip the lining inside out to get the leaves out. I would suggest a couple improvements to the product based on our purposes. 1. The drain plug could be positioned a little further to the edge of the pool and slightly higher. As it is now, the drain sits flat on the bottom of the pool so the draining process is really slow since it has the weight of the pool smooshing it to the ground. I'm sure it would be faster if our pool wasn't on concrete, but that's not ideal for us. 2. The legs fall out of their anchors on the corners of the pool as soon as it's lifted off the ground-like when repositioning the pool. Maybe make the tips of the legs rubber where they insert into the corner piece so they don't fall off so easily? Or even make them screw into the anchor? Overall, I've bought two of these pools. One for myself and one for a friend's pups and we both love our Intex pools!!!
