Simple, healthy treat all cats to crazy for!
Cats LOVE these treats, even all the “dusty” stuff at the bottom of the bag doesn’t go to waste. It can make a mess but it’s worth it for how much every cat ever loves the simple, dehydrated chicken. Just make sure they go slow because it is so dry, a big piece not chewed well (one of my cats swallows and doesn’t chew) can cause some choking so I break up bigger pieces and monitor them. You could add some water to rehydrate them, too.

The new favorite!!
Our 4 kitties love these treats! Only one protein which is perfect for our diabetic cat. They leave some dust which is great to sprinkle on their canned food treat. I also like they are made locally!

This freeze dried chicken is very good quality!
This freeze dried chicken smells like chicken! It’s very good quality. We tried a different brand, and the chicken pieces fell into shreds. That worked for a topping on soft food, but definitely not as a treat! This chicken remained in chunks that could be given as a special treat. Do make sure there is lots of fresh water available!

Great wet food topper
I really like how these are only one ingredient, they easily break apart, but the bag is very small. Great healthy treat or topper.

Do yourself a favor and buy Pure Bites instead
Ordered these because my cats had freeze dried chicken in their kit nip box and loved it, but I couldn’t remember the brand name. Both were just one ingredient, how different could it be? As it turns out… very different. One cat ate some begrudgingly, and the other turned around and walked away. These cats are not that picky, ESPECIALLY about treats - they’ve never had a treat they didn’t at least like.I ended up buying the Pure Bites, which I found is what they had originally, and BAM, cuckoo bananas, I think they’d even take them over Churu! Normally I wouldn’t call out another brand like this but in this case, the taste buds don’t lie. Just say no to Whole Life and start with the good goods.

My Cat LOVES these treats! Even the dust!
The media could not be loaded. My cat was eating Stella & Chewy's Freeze-dried Raw Chicken Dinner Morsels as a treat, but I was worried about the Avian Flu outbreak infecting raw chicken. I know S&C's uses HPP (high-pressure processing), but I want to be sure Harley is safe.He loves chicken treats, so I did some research and found that these Whole Life treats (and a few other brands) are cooked and then freeze dried. I feel better about giving him these cooked treats, and he is CRAZY about them. (Turn on the sound in the video to hear the greedy purrs!)I put them in an air-tight container and when he sees me reaching for it, he starts meowing and begging! I have to put the container in the highest cabinet above the stove, because if I Ieave it on the counter, he'll push it off so it falls on the floor. The top of the container pops off and he can eat to his heart's content (or until I catch him!)For those that have a problem with the dusty pieces at the bottom of the bag, here's what I do: I just put the dust & tiny pieces in a little container, and sprinkle a bit on top of his wet food. No waste, and he cleans his bowl.Hopefully, we can go back to my his favorite Stella & Chewy Dinner Morsels someday. Until then, I'm glad I found these treats and can spoil him without worry.

Not Worth the Price
While my cats didn’t mind eating them, I feel there are better snacks and toppers to use that aren’t as expensive. I won’t be getting it again. There was a lot of powder and crumbs in my package so not sure if that’s consistent with the brand or what but I just thought it was odd. Almost like it’s coated in chalk. It’s high quality for sure but again I’d lean towards finding something less expensive and just as good quality. I probably won’t get this product again.
