A Must-Have Addition for Safety on Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro
I can't believe I waited so long to get the Blind Spot Mirror Wide Angle! This little addition has made a huge difference in my driving experience. Installation was a breeze – a quick and secure attachment to my side mirrors, and I was ready to hit the road. The wide angle view it provides is nothing short of impressive. I now have a clear and expanded view of my blind spots, giving me added confidence when changing lanes or merging on the highway on my Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro. It takes some time to get the proper adjustments, but once its set your good to go! Just be careful when washing the vehicle because its super sensitive and if you touch it then the adjustments have to be made all over again. The mirror's design doesn't compromise my original side mirror functionality; it's a seamless enhancement. The quality is evident, and it's held up perfectly despite exposure to various weather conditions. If you're looking to up your driving safety game, I highly recommend the Blind Spot Mirror Wide Angle. It's a small investment that offers a tremendous improvement in your overall driving experience. Don't hesitate – make the smart choice for safer travels!

Adjustable + wide angle????? Perfect.
I just bought a preowned car, but my budget didnt allow for me to buy the "premium" model of the car I wanted, so the basic model I got didnt come with blindspot detection. Probably the biggest downside to the car I got were the relatively large blindspots that my old car didnt have. But the car was an upgrade in every other way. ANYWAY. These things have been a godsend. Not only is my blindspot totally covered on both sides of my car, I can see my blindspot AND the next lane over. The wide angle of these are awesome. Even though I know you SHOULD always check your blindspot even if you ALREADY have digital detection/specific mirrors for your blindspot.........lets face it. We are ALL guilty of not actually looking every now and then. Before I got these, I had to quadruple check my blindspots on the new car cuz they were so large. I still tend to do that now cuz of conditioned paranoia, but this assures me a lot more now that I can see everything. The fact that they are adjustable is fantastic. Which means if you put a mini trailer on the hitch behind your car, you can push these in or out to account for the elongated blind spot. That is invaluable. EASY TO INSTALL. The only thing I'd say about this is: BE CAREFUL. Make sure you know exactly where you want to put these cuz as soon as you stick it on, its not coming off. I already splashed it with water and its not gonna come off in the rain either. But once you know exactly where to put it, you stick it once, adjust the angle and youre good to go. DO NOT GET NON-ADJUSTABLE BLINDSPOT MIRRORS. If your car is like mine and has a rather large blindspot and you dont have a big enough budget to afford the model with blindspot detection, these are a perfect purchase. Great price too for such a necessary safety feature. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Good Blindspot Coverage But Maybe Not the Best
These work pretty well to show what's in your blind spot. The adhesive works well and it stays where you put it. It is adjustable, so you have to move the mirror around to get is just right. This can be tricky since the best time to work this out is when actually driving. But eventually you get it where you need it and it shows you what is in your blind spot. My only complaint is that is it can be easily moved out of place (when washing the car, for example, or just bumping into the mirror). Then you have to reset it. The main competition for these are the ones that are fully round. I think I prefer those as they give you a fuller field of view and don't have this issue with needed to be positioned.

Will Help Avoid an Accident
I bought this product in order to try to prevent a possible future car accident. A couple times in the last few years, I have almost had an accident when I changed lanes and did not see a car behind me because it was in my blind spot. The newer car that my wife drives has blind spot alert monitoring (light comes on in the side view mirrors), and I would not buy another car without it now. However, the older car that I usually drive does not have blind spot monitoring. Although very easy to install, I did spend about 20 minutes trying to figure out where exactly was the best location to mount the little mirrors on each of the car's side view mirrors. The directions did not give any recommendations, and the reviews on the Amazon site showed various locations. So, I experimented using some Scotch double-sided tape to temporarily place the little mirrors in various spots and also used a blue trash can behind my car in the driveway in the blind spot area (see photos). First off, I was actually amazed at how large a blind spot I really had and how well the little mirrors showed the blue trash can that had not been visible at all in the normal side view mirrors or even if I turned my head around and looked as the rear car pillars on either side blocked my view. For me, I found that the best place to mount the little mirrors on my car's side view mirrors was on the lower edge, midway from the outside and inside edges, on both the driver's and passenger's sides. The little mirrors have an adjustable ball pivot allowing you to slant them up or down, left or right for fine adjustments. This is a really a good design feature as they would not work very well at all if you had to mount them flush to the surface of the side view mirror itself. So far, I am very pleased with this product in terms of its quality and ease of installation with the 3M adhesive strip. My only concern is how the little mirrors will hold up long-term through car washes and inclement weather. However, at $8, I guess I can afford to replace them every year or so or how ever long they last. If these little mirrors will help me avoid having a car accident, then I am quite certain that will be money well spent.

Works great, very clear image, easy to adjust. Better than the round ones. Contours don't match the mirror
Blind spot mirrors seem to be a necessary evil in many cars due to the design of the pillars and the attempts at making mirrors more streamlined. For some reason the manufacturers don't seem to feel necessary to put a blind spot convex portion to the mirror that would eliminate the need to buy this add-on. My truck has them. And the mirrors on the truck are huge. They give great visibility and the blind spot mirrors work like a charm. They look great. And their adjusted with the mirror. The problem with all the add-on blind spot mirrors is they just don't look great. None of them ever match the contours of the mirror frame, and they all seem to be a little out of place on the mirror. However, in my opinion, the necessity of having these outweighs the parents. I used to use a peer round one. However I think the round ones are a little bit more difficult to truly use and understand your visual field. I was hoping this one would snog into the bottom inside of the drivers mirror and look a little bit less conspicuous and out of place It does fit well, it's easy to adjust, the optics are clear, and there's no obvious imperfections in the reflection. It does what I want. It just doesn't look great. The bottom contour doesn't go with the bottom contour the mirror, and neither side follows the contour the frame. I guess for the price it's as good as you can get. It sticks well. It's easy to adjust. I can see everything I want to see including the blind spot and increase visibility for all other areas of the field of vision. So I do think it's okay. It's just another one of those products that you buy that is not great for the mirror in terms of appearance, but it does the job. It would be nice if someone made blind spots mirrors that were specific for certain models like they do floor mats. But then the cost would probably be prohibitive and no one would buy them. So I would recommend this mirror. I think it's much better than the round ones. Just prepare to fiddle with a little bit for placement to your happy. Because the adhesive bond so quickly to the mirror and is so firm, I would recommend holding it to the mirror lightly and determine if you're satisfied with the position before you firmly press on it and make it stick. In my experience, once it's on, the only way to get it off is to pry it off with a razor and that will destroy the adhesive.

Amazing to use for seeing stop lights on a Corvette
see around corners no problem. Honestly I'd like a bigger one but at least it's discreet. I use this on my C6 Corvette aiming up off the mid dash to see what color the stoplight is without bending my neck. They might be useful for keeping bugs away. Flies, in particular, freak out when they see eyes staring back at them.

Purchased these 5 years ago... Still kicking.
I bought these mirrors for my car literally FIVE years ago after my ex-husband side swiped someone in my car. They have not budged. They have not failed, frozen, fogged, or scratched. They are literally still in perfect condition. I am going to include these side view mirrors in my will because I literally think they will outlast me. Well done.
