LED Headlamp USB Rechargeable Headlight with Rotatable Adjustable Head Super Bright Waterproof Zoomable Flashlight 4 Modes Hands-Free Lantern for Camping Fishing Hiking

I built my own rechargeable headlamp years ago using a no-rechargeable one as the base. It used a small LiPo battery, and a DC to DC converter to match the voltage to the LED. It was very light weight and was perfect for lighting delicate close up work in my hobby and for extra light when working around the house. Eventually the LED burnt out so I looked around for a new one and eventually purchased this one. My overall observation is that it is well made and the primary light pattern is uniform and very bright. Adjustment up and down and changing the beam spread work well. I liked the sound of the hand wave option as I like to leave the headlamp on when working and this is a nice way to turn it on and off. Now to the negatives. First the switch does not enable a straight on/off. It must be cycled through the 4 modes to turn it off which is time wasting and annoying. Next, the hand wave option only switches to the case where all three LEDs are on at the same time. The light pattern in this condition is not uniform and I need uniform lighting to do my craft work. I plan to disable the side lamps to make this work the way I like. Finally, the unit is quite heavy and I found the lack of padding where the lamp rests against my forehead uncomfortable after extended use. I added a piece of soft foam padding to the back of the lamp assembly which solved the problem. See the picture. Recharging with the USB connector is good. Overall a good buy at the price but could be better with a few minor changes. Anglian

It is bright and well balanced making it comfortable to wear. The center LED has an adjustable focus for some reason. If you focus it down you can see the grid of the LED clearly. The bars and lines make the ground seem to ripple. Not awesome. It is also crooked. That is highly irritating. Twist the focus out and the bars vanish and the crooked light isn't as noticeable. The rubber plug for the charge port will not stay in. That it going to effect the weather rating. I expected so much more, didn't get what I paid for this time. Would send back but I need it now so...

Honestly I did not expect too much out of this since it was so cheap but I work in the oil and gas industry so this was a pretty decent thing to try and get needless to say I pretty much abused this and slammed it up against some equipment one day in my rage of equipment not working LOL and long and behold the thing still worked so honestly I would say this thing can handle pretty much anything LOL

I use these more for night fishing than anything else. They are super bright and last a long time. The only thing is they can be a little heavy, but for me it wasn’t a big deal.

A very nice headlamp, the light is stronger than most flash lights. Recommended for adventure trip and camping or other out door use, because it might be too strong at home, haha. It's also pretty comfortable, I can wear it for half hour with no problem. For power saving, you can turn the main light only, or two side lights, and either way can offers good strength of light. Besides, for the strong bright like this, the LED light bulb amazingly does not generate a lot of heat. After 5 mins use, it is just a bit of warm. I recommended it, and it might also be a good choose for a present.

Entirely too big/bulky/heavy. Light is focused into a reasonably bright, however tiny square beam. For the power that’s in the two giant rechargeable batteries the light should be much better. I’ll admit that I lol’ed to myself when reading the outside of the box it was in.. The manufacturer in China might want to look for a new translator - the broken and weirdly random English was downright hilarious! The packaging on stuff from Amazon that’s made in China is usually worth a good spellcheck chuckle and this one certainly didn’t disappoint!
