I ordered this product for the fact that it will help seal the cuticle of my hair. My hair has become over moisturized from using products that are too heavy for my fine hair, and jas started to look and feel damaged. I used this shampoo for the first time last night and air dried my hair. Usually, if I air dry, my hair is completely stuck to my scalp and my hair looks nasty. And if I diffuse, my hair looks super poofy and frizzy. I have curly hair and have lost a lot of curl from being over moisturized and after the first use of this product, I'm seeing curls forming in areas that I havent seen curl in a long long time. My hair still needs fixing but I thing I'm headed in the right direction. My hair dried nicely too, it doesn't feel stuck to my scalp, it feels very light and fluffy. I'm going to continue to update this review as I wash my hair more with this product. As a disclaimer, I dont use conditioner because it hair doesn't need the added moisture and I just hate it. So I'm using this product alone, without the matching conditioner. Oh! And another huge bonus of this shampoo is that it smells BOMB. Even on the bottle, it talks about aromatherapy and it's no joke. It's not overpowering at all, it smells very natural and earthy, fully of essential oil scents. It made the whole shower experience very pleasant and honestly made me feel very relaxed. Five stars so far! Update: I've washed with this shampoo 4 times now and I'm still loving the results. Continuing to have curl in areas where I didn't before and my hair feels and looks much healthier. I've added the AG cloud foam as a styler and the 2 together make my hair look so soft and shiney!! Still 5 stars from me!

This shampoo makes my hair so soft and it looks nice for 2 days! I usually have to wash my hair daily so 2 days is a nice change!

I did some research on great shampoos for oily hair, and found this product. Overall, it works great. I like how it is (mostly) plant based, and it does smell nice. My only complaint is that I was looking for a product that would keep my hair looking "not greasy" for more than one day, but day after using it, my hair still looks like "hair that was washed the day before." This may be a "me problem" instead of a "product problem." Overall, it is a decent shampoo and I would recommend it.

I am a black woman with very coily hair and this product cleans my scalp and the length of my hair very well. In my opinion the smell is good. It's not my favorite as I like more sweet, vanilla type scents and this is more of an organic scent if that makes sense but that's obviously not important as it's shampoo and will be rinsed out regardless. Lastly, I love the way this product suds up with water and because a little goes a long way, it lasts a very long time especially if you're someone who washes their hair weekly like me.

. My hair has thinned the last year and I was finding that I was needing to wash it every other day. I bought this shampoo because it doesn't have all the chemicals that normal shampoo. Here is my warning: if you have thin hair, you might experience greasy hair in the beginning. It's similar to the "transition period" when going "no poo." Hang in there! The back of my hair looked as if my hair was always wet. Right when I was ready to go back to my normal shampoo (after a month or so), my scalp got used to the shampoo. My hair is now softer than it's ever been. I can go 3- 4 days between washes. And my hair is wavy like when I was a child. Highly recommend this shampoo! Just hang in there!

I’ve been using this shampoo for about two years, largely because I purchased the 1-liter refill size and wanted to use it up. Overall, it does its job well: it cleanses thoroughly, removes buildup, and leaves my scalp feeling fresh. That said, I don’t think this is the best option if you’re looking for a moisturizing shampoo. I have 4C hair, and I find that my hair feels fairly stripped after washing. It doesn’t provide much slip, so detangling during the shampoo step isn’t realistic for me. I need to follow up with conditioner before my hair starts feeling manageable again. The reason I continued using it for so long is that it consistently cleans my hair without causing irritation, and a little goes a long way. The large refill size is also a good value if you already know you like the formula. Ironically, my favorite product in this line is actually the conditioner, which I find much more impressive than the shampoo itself. If you’re looking for a clarifying or deep-cleaning shampoo, this is a solid option. If you’re someone with very dry, coily, or 4C hair who prioritizes moisture and slip, you may find it a bit too stripping for regular use. Would I finish the bottle? Absolutely. Would I repurchase it? Probably not. It’s a good shampoo, but not my favorite.

I have been using this shampoo for years, purchased from AG hair care website and it was a great shampoo BUT this time it is different, hard to mix with water and makes my hair looks oily unlike usual. I don’t know if it was stored in bad condition or it is expired as there is no expiration date on the bottle. Sadly I returned it.

It’s so disappointing that after a delay of a month and finally receiving such an expensive shampoo most of the content had leaked. It’s really very upsetting

I love this shampoo. I had a sample a long time ago and I never forgot its smell and how shiny it made my hair look - all while keeping it light and my curls defined. Recently, gave in to this luxury (price-wise) but my hair loves the treat so. I tried having a similar shampoo at a lower price point but my hair is fancy and likes this one so it is what it is. No regrets

I don’t write many reviews but if this can help it’s all good . I bought this shampoo and another as I only use mostly natural shampoo , my scalp is oily a bit and as I man I use minoxidil , I just use 1 pump maybe half a pump as I have short hair , it foam pretty nice and I leave it 1 to 2 min and my itching is gone . I try many shampoos in my life but always to find a better one and so far I will use this one daily , hair look ok but for me is the itchiness I more worry , so far it work great
