Question 1

How does this shirt hold up to a gentle wash? i have have had terrible luck with amazon clothing becoming worthless after being washed. tia

Accepted Answer

I have two of these shirts and have washed each of them several times in the two months I've owned them -- much more often than usual because of the pandemic. I have had no problems at all. I wash them on gentle cycle and dry them on low heat, taking them out as soon as they are finished. They look as good as when I bought them. These are great shirts!

Question 2

Can i wear it for a viewing service?Awkward question I know, please someone tell me

Accepted Answer

First, I'm sorry for your loss. In today's world, you might be okay wearing this. It is very casual, but the black was a nice black color. I did end up returning this because it leans more towards jacket than shirt, and my husband was too warm in it (we live in the mountains). It is cut so it does not need to be tucked although I think it would be too heavy to tuck anyways. The pockets sit back a little too far, but they are doable. So I don't have a clear cut answer better than that. If this is for immediate family, it might be a too casual, as it does not fit/wear/look like a suit coat in any way.

Question 3

What are the dimensions of pockets?

Accepted Answer

They probably vary by size and I bought an XL. The chest pockets are about 5.5" tall and 4.5" wide. The side pockets are 6.5" wide at the opening and 8" deep on a diagonal a bit toward the center.

Question 4

I'm 6'5 around 180 what size should I get?

Accepted Answer

My husband is 6', 210, I ordered him XL. He likes it but says its almost too warm for even mountain winters and he is not a warm person.
