Sony's performance vehicle
Works well with LG C2 65" Television which actually sounds good with its own built in sppeakers Easy to connect don't need to connect to Internet but you can if your after likes of Spotify. Sound is rather nice and balance just right amount of bass and tone. It uses software for on screen volume useing LG remote for volumn. In all a good buy and a strong recommendation not perfect voices are clearer with LGs speakers but muffled on bass where as Sony's is much clearer and bass just about right on sony you can't go wrong here.

Great soundbar
Had this speaker for 3 years now. I am very happy with the sound and look of it. Was pretty easy to set up to my Sony tv and was a massive improvement on the inbuilt speakers.

Probably the best soundbar of 2022
Wow just wow what a soundboard it is the sound coming from it sounds like your sitting in a Cinema. Very straightforward to set up and get working also the wall mounting is like hanging up a clock or mirror very straightforward. This soundboard is really for dummies in a good way that's not very gifted with Morden day technology. I'm glad that this was my first ever soundbar I've purchased knowing the struggles my friends have with different brand of soundbar they've purchased in the past. You won't be disappointed with this soundbar like I said its the best on the market in 2022 I don't think Sony could improve this soundbar well done Sony on this soundbar.

Disappointing at this price point
It was a toss up between this and the Sony HT-S2000 soundbar, which seems to have good reviews with the likes of What HiFi magazine, so I assumed, this being the larger and more expensive of the two, it would be the better quality purchase. Well, I've not heard the HT-S2000 to compare, but I certainly wouldn't rate the sound of this product past 'adequate', and it's certainly not better than the Denon it was bought to replace. Connecting to my Sony Bravia A90K was easy, and the soundbar was up and running within minutes, but sadly, that's about as positive as it gets. Firstly, there's only three bass settings - Min, Mid and Max. Typically, Mid is just about OK, but Max is too much, so I would have preferred a finer setting to get something in between for 'normal' TV viewing. The volume is also an issue. The soundbar needs turning up to about 30% to get a decent TV volume (my old Denon only needed to be on 12-15), then when a Bluetooth device was connected to play some music, I was blasted out with it being too loud. I've no idea why the volume from the TV, connected by eARC, is so low, but I've tried every setting I can find to rectify it. Having the 'Auto Volume' sound setting switched On helps a bit, but then the sound volume is inconsistent and uneven, sounding like it's going through some sort of loudness compression process. Playing a Bluray with Dolby Atmos was more successful. The sound was full and meaty, but not as 'spacious' as I was expecting, and the sound didn't really project all that far from the screen, even with 'Sound Field' switched on. There was little definition of height, but then I wasn't expecting too much, as this bar doesn't have upward firing speakers, so any expression of height is delivered by sound processing. One thing good about this soundbar is that it supports DTS as well as Dolby sound formats. To be honest, I think I'm going to return to my Denon, despite its lack of DTS support. If the return window for this HT-A3000 was still open, I think I would have returned it, as I just can't live with the aforementioned anomalies. Overall, I personally find this Sony product disappointing, but others may not experience the same issues that I have with the inconsistent volume issue.
