Great quality and reliable functionality that you'd expect from Western Digital. The capacity is amazing, it has blazing fast read/write speeds, and installation was a breeze as it fits a standard M.2 socket. I was able to immediately initialize and partition it for use after installing it. This went into my laptop, so it obviously changed nothing externally and added only a few grams to the weight. It's pricey, but I'd rather get a good one from a brand I trust than just go with the cheapest option available.

This SSD with Heatsink has been an absolutely massive upgrade over my previous SSD. Installation was quick and straightforward, and the performance difference was immediately noticeable. Boot times are faster, games and applications load almost instantly, and overall system responsiveness is on a whole new level. I really love the built in heatsink. It looks great, fits perfectly, and does an excellent job keeping temperatures under control even during heavy use. It’s nice not having to worry about thermal throttling or buying a separate cooling solution. The only downside is that it didn’t come with a mounting screw to secure it to the motherboard. It’s a small thing, but worth noting, thankfully most motherboards include one. Overall, this is a top tier SSD that delivers incredible speed, great thermals, and premium build quality. Highly recommended for anyone looking to seriously upgrade their system.

I bought this 8TB drive during black friday 2024 over a year ago for $535 and im so glad i did, it still works perfectly on my gaming laptop where i got almost my whole STEAM library of games installed on it. today Jan 11 2026 with the shortage of Ram and NAND chips this same Drive is listed at $899. this thing is perfect and for a PCIe Gen4 NVME drive this is the best available 8TB Drive. there are others like the Samsung SSD 9100 PRO but that is PCIe Gen5 it is backwards compatible with GEN4 but you are praying a premium for performance you cant use if your motherboard/Device cant use GEN5.

Perfect, and looks amazing on my pc setup. This one replaced my last ssd 1tb drive and I can't be any happier now that I can have more games available to play at once vs having to delete a few just to try another one. Super quick to transfer files and reading files. This is the best performing drive I've had yet

Well, the product is fine. Fast, high capacity. It's great. But it seem some sellers/suppliers are trying to pass-off the 2TB variant as 8TB (see picture), and are just putting a sticker for the 8TB ASIN/SKU on the 2TB box/item. So be warned and check it when you receive it to make sure you got what you actually paid for!
