Hiking Baby Carrier Backpack - Toddler & Child Carrier

We ordered this hiking backpack carrier to hike and for my husband to use instead of the ‘traditional’ Ergo baby ones, etc. We got the carrier super fast and immediately stuck our older child in it to try it out. It has tons of adjustments and the key is to make sure that all the weight is supported by your hips. I have read other reviews that the carrier doesn’t come with instructions, that was true for us, but I really don’t think you need them. There is a little card with some tips on it and ultimately, the adjustments all seem really straight forward. I love that there is tons of storage pockets and places for water bottles. There is even a ‘cool’ pouch for items that need to stay cold. One thing that I also really love, that I didn’t realize when I bought it, is that there is a removable piece you put over the shade, that blocks out the wind and elements. This is a huge plus for us as our son hates the wind for some reason... We did have a slight issue when we first got the carrier, where one of the zippers on the waistband pockets broke off. It was before we even used it. It looked to be a defect in the zipper, not a quality issue of the carrier. I contacted the company and they responded immediately and made sure a new one was sent to us. We now have two of these carriers and highly recommend them!! High quality, great features for a very reasonable price and great customer service to top it all off.

This pack is everything we wanted and more. It’s sturdy but light, comfortable and room to grow. My 18 month loves it and I feel perfectly safe balancing over logs and hiking trails with the 5 point security clip. The pack is very comfortable I can hike 3-5 miles easily and not feel the need to trade off.The kickstand scratched easily but it’s supposed to be on the ground so I’m not worried. I also love the pockets. I just one we can carry a rolled up sweater, 3 bottles of water, diapers, wipes and snacks for everyone. I also love the included plastic changing pad. I didn’t think I’d use it, but I did the other day and appreciated not having to put my baby on a wet mossy log for a change. My partner loves it too. We can quickly and easily adjust the carrying size from my 5’3” to his 6’+ frame so we can share the load.Compared to other packs this one is well worth the price.

Really awesome carrier. I have a hard time with my baby and her nap time, but this carrier puts her to sleep in no time. She loves the scenery and it’s very comfortable. We wore it on a camping trip and it felt great. There is a lot of adjustment straps so you need to adjust everything to get the right feel for the baby and your back. That was a plus for me because my 1yr Old is 25 lbs, the crotch area is well padded for her and even that has 2 adjustment straps. A lot of padding for her head to rest on. The harness is soft and padded for her neck. Love the insulated pocket for her milk. The only thing I would change is the kickstand. You HAVE to manually close it BEFORE you put it on. You can’t just grab the leg behind you and shut it. It has two side buttons that need to be pressed. Overall, a great sleek carrier. I’m not to fond of a lot of crazy color and visual straps everywhere. This gray and black looks rad. The aluminum matches our stroller too. Great buy.

I initially bought this last winter just for a 10 day trip to Puerto Rico so I could easily haul my then 3 year old on hikes and while traveling.Since then, I've used this multiple times, including at a music festival. My 4 year old actually napped in this while we were at the festival. She loves it, and rarely complains about being uncomfortable.Now she's 46" and 45 lbs and I'm planning on bringing it with us to Costa Rica for the travel time + hiking. I know the weight limit is 40 lbs, but last time we used it she was 43 lbs and did great. No signs of wear on the seat or straps. I am a 6'1", 150 lb woman and thanks to the hip straps, am able to comfortably carry her for extended periods of time (even on tough uphill hikes!)I also like that it's a great core exercise when using it!Overall, awesome product. I really didn't think we would get much use out of this, but we really are! Definitely worth the money. I wish I had this when she was even younger.

This pack is super nice - the padding is comfy, there are lots of places to adjust so it fits parent and baby well, and the pockets are convenient.There are two drawbacks. I’m 5’2” and it’s a little too tall for me even on all the shortest settings. It still fits comfortably but the weight distribution is a little off because of my height. My only other complaint is that I can’t get the kickstand to come in on my own. My arms can’t reach while I’m wearing the pack so if I’m hiking alone I just hike with the kickstand sticking out.

This item is a gift but it came on time and looks to be in perfect condition.

I never leave reviews but I freaking love this and my daughter does too! I didn’t think she would because she’s very much in her “independent, I can walk on my own” age (3 years old), but she loved being in it. I went over a practice run on getting her in and out efficiently before taking it out for the first time and it was easy with the instructions. I honestly love it and recommend getting it for walks, hikes.. etc.

I started using this when my daughter was about 6 mo. She’s now 2 and a half (30lbs) and we are still using this on hikes together when she needs a break. I was looking for a hiking backpack that was under $200 as opposed to the more expensive brands like Osprey. This backpack is awesome and comes with a lot of extras such as a little rain cover, a changing mat, a thermally insulated pocket for bottles. Plenty of room to pack essential hiking items. This backpack is so comfy that my daughter often falls asleep on hikes. The longest I've hiked with this is 9 miles. Weight is placed more on your hips than your shoulders if you have it adjusted correctly. Well worth the money if you're looking for a hiking backpack to take your baby along for adventures. Highly recommend!!!

Bought for my daughter and wife who are both over 6’ tall and of larger build. They tell me this is practical, comfortable for them to wear and their little one loves it. Lots of space to accommodate a child to older age as well and the little foot stirrups are the sweetest thing! Loads of compartments, outdoor changing mat and an insulated space to keep water hot to make milk formula. Thank you to other reviewers who helped me decide on this carrier and I hope this is helpful to others too.

Wir waren zu Beginn unschlüssig, ob wir wirklich einfach auf Empfehlung online eine Kraxe bestellen sollen oder nicht doch lieber vor Ort uns durchtesten sollen.Was soll ich sagen? Unser Kind liebt sie! Entweder schläft sie darin oder strahlt um die Wette, weil sie in der Kraxe alles um sich herum sieht und mitbekommt.Die Kraxe ist auch angenehm zu tragen und durch die Fächer nochmal ein Ersatz für einen Rucksack.Für uns hat sich der Kauf definitiv gelohnt!

Very good product. Came as described and we used it a lot in our travel!! My 3 year old felt very comfortable in it and the weight was very well distributed on my back while carrying her for many hiking hours
