Well, my parents were thrilled when I decided to play it during our cozy dinner. Little did we know, the Blu-ray had other plans. Very fast delivery of item and excellent customer service from the seller. The dvd was fast paced and hilarious another example of how great Will Ferrell is at acting and comedy

First time my 8 year old had seen this, he loved it and watched it several times over Christmas, few mild swear words in the film that my lad never noticed but some parents of younger children might want to re-watch it first to make sure your happy with the language used.

I'd give this product a ZERO star. Living in North America which is quite evident by the address they sent it to. It had a DVD Region 2 on it which is only available for a Europe DVD player. Needless to say, we couldn't watch it for Christmas! Not impressed!!!

Je parle ici du pressage 4K anglais sorti récemment, et pas des autres éditions. J’attendais une version HD de ce film avec impatience depuis des années, et ce 4K aurait dû être le Graal !Mais malheureusement il ne contient pas la vraie VF présente sur le DVD français, mais une version canadienne. Le verso de la jaquette le stipule bien, mais pour le savoir avant de commander il faudrait qu’Amazon mette la photo du verso sur le site, ce qui devrait être obligatoire, et pas que pour ce cas précis mais pour tous les blurays !La VF québécoise n’est pas mauvaise, elle conviendra bien à ceux qui ne connaissent pas déjà ce super film de Noël, mais les puristes habitués à la vraie VF (dont je suis) seront déçus. La voix du doublage canadien de James Caan ressemble moins à sa véritable voix américaine, et celle de Will Ferrel sonne beaucoup moins ingénue et innocente que dans la vraie VF, elle colle moins au personnage de l’Elfe. Comme quoi nos doubleurs français sont bons !Je possède des films avec doublages canadiens sans que cela ne me pose de problème, mais pour Elf je n’en veux pas. Je regarde beaucoup de films en VO sans souci, mais pour un film familial à voir avec des enfants ce n’est pas possible.Je l’ai donc renvoyé illico chez Amazon, et je vais aller voir le pressage 4K américain, qui possède une VF qui sera peut être la vraie VF, mais pour l’instant je n’arrive pas à le savoir… Ou alors il faut attendre une hypothétique sortie française.J’oubliais : La qualité d’image du 4K est très belle, rien à voir avec les DVD. A vous de voir si l’achat vous tente. Mes 3 étoiles de note ne concerne pas l'image ou le film en lui même, mais ma déception sur la VF.

La película es muy buena, divertida y familiar pero, la descripción del idioma "Spanish" es incorrecta, el idioma es "Latín Spanish". Una pena para los que compramos, ponemos en el filtro (idioma película castellano) y "el filtro" nos confirma está opción, también (entiéndase imagen trasera bluray "idioma Spanish"). Una pena!!
