wait so can you use these to actually weld without a welding helmet??

yes, you can. However, all you can do is weld with these. Once you make the weld, you have to take them off. They are auto lightening/darkening. So you're totally blind unless welding and all you can see is the torch...nothing else...

So you can use these to stick tig and mig weld with correct ?

I would use them along side a tradition welders mask. They arent self tinting.

They are very dark, but provide very little UV radiation protection ~ I arc welded a few spots 2-3 minutes and realized I had flash burned my eyes shortly after .. Not the protection I expected. ~ Definitely be careful
