Many reviews say that this works with Kobalt and it would but...all that the manufacturer needed to do was include one more nut. A '10-1.25 14mm' nut would have solved the issue. If it has a nut to fit your trimmer, it looks as though it would be fairly easy to use though.Update: I finally found a '10-1.25 14mm' nut and installed this on my Kobalt 80v trimmer. I pre-cut my trim line to perfectly fit this head and keep them in my pocket as I'm cutting the grass with it. Super easy and quick to replace the lines. Since it has 4 cutting edges, it cuts thicker/ taller grass with ease and the need to change the line is significantly reduced...by a lot. I finish my lawn so much quicker when there is no need to constantly replace the line. Changing my 1 star review but still minus 1 star due to not adding 1 nut to the box.

If anybody would try one of these attachments and realize how much line is saved and time fooling with winding up a fresh spool they'd be Sold Out ! My old one was getting weak in the spring tension after more than 10 years. The new pieces of line were flying out in use. This replacement is perfect and holds the plastic line tightly. I watch these guys bouncing their spools and then restringing them. So much wasted time. I can do My whole yard with 4 pieces 12 inches long. So easy to squeeze the two buttons and insert a fresh string.It comes with detailed instructions with pictures and fits so many brands. I use an Echo. Buy it again ? Yes I will years from now.

This product is very durable i haven't even had to change the string yet cause they haven't even started to wear after 3 uses on my 40v electric ryobi ( did my whole front yard and side on a corner lot ) one day still no wear on the string and i find this amazing. The string on these are easy to change as i have one on my gas powered weed eater also .

Who doesn’t hate respooling weed eater string? This the answer! So simple to change heads and then no more spooling. Press the button and insert the string and go. The best!

Great replacement for Dewalt electric trimmers. Comes with small kit of replacement fittings. There's a nut that fits the shaft included. Drop nut down the hole, spin it on tight and you're good to go. If you've never done this before, don't forget you need a small rod, screwdriver or whatever to insert in the hole at side of gear housing to hold shaft in place. Easy.

pros:1. Easy to use2. Convenient3. Threading is fairly easy, just make sure you push in hard enough for 0.95 or more. I use Rhino brand.Cons:it breaks my trimmer line often, too often.
