Wish I had read the reviews. I bought to give as a gift for my daughters friend. However it comes in a clear carry box with label in Chinese and no indication what to do, there are no instructions or a leaflet that comes with it. I guess my expectations where something like the Lego mixed piece box, or the bunchums where you get a count of pieces and some ideas of what can be built... so it fell short.This ok for your own use but not a good gift. I will keep for my kids but will need to buy something more suitable as a gift.

This product is just great. My husband and I have been talking about doing more family activities and for the price of $7.99 I mean why not? Took a chance and this kept us all entertained for over an hour; including my husband lol. Even my teenage daughter was engaged which is hard to come by nowadays. Fun fun fun! Thanks for this once again! Quick next day delivery was a even bigger bonus.

Although this is a nice product, and my children do enjoy strewing the pieces about my home, dumping out the entire bin on the floor into a huge mess, etc. -- I am a bit disappointed in the lack of any type of instruction booklet, manual for building ideas, etc.The tree that it shows... yeah who knows how to make that? An engineer? Well my 4 year old isn't a budding engineer unfortunately. Make sure that you have worked with these types of toys before purchasing this if instructions are important to you, and that you are willing to invest hours into helping them "play" with this toy.It's definitely not intended for toddlers, especially considering that a 2 year old (which is technically a toddler) could easily put one of these in their mouth, swallow, choke and potentially die as a result.I would say more like 6+ and that it contain an instruction/idea booklet for projects.

This manipulative has been enjoyed by my pre-k class for the past couple of weeks. They have been building intricate designs from rockets to bubble blasters. I personally like the colorful flower shape (we are studying plant life) Wach piece has a letter or number punched in the center allowing the possibility of matching games and number and alphabet activities too.They are about the size of a quarter and include a good amount for building larger structures. Their size and design promote fine motor skills, great for early writing skills! Overall a five star rating. I have other teachers asking to borrow them in their classrooms.

The product is nice but carrying tub it came in was cracked. It's disappointing because having a carrying tub is convenient. Also, I dont know if the color varies but the tub we received had pink locks and handles...I bought for my 14 year old boy who will not appreciate that color. So broken and wrong color - I get to go buy my own storage container, blah!

Difficult to build anything that really looks like anything, BUT my girls (5,7) will build and play with these for hours. They sort colors, see who can make the longest "chain," dump them on eachother... the list goes on and on. We've definitely gotten our money's worth!

Bought this as a part of a B-day gift for my 5 year old granddaughter. It couldn't have been a bigger hit with young and old alike. She built an eagle, her 9 year old brother built an intricate 4 car train, her father made a tree and her uncle made a very large tower! I am sure this will provide many hours of imaginative and fun entertainment.

As kids in the late 60's, we called these flower-like construction toy pieces "Dealie-bobbers". They were a staple in my first grade classroom as a child. I was delighted to find these on Amazon.com and bought a set just for nostalgia. They are exactly as I remembered: durable, fun colors and hours of potential fun for kids and families.
