says 3.2 on site but when i eject says 3.0 ..sad face ;(...why?

Is the port 3.2 or 3. Shouldn’t really make any real difference to the device.

Will this work for cctv

Only for backup, it's not suitable for direct HDD replacement to record cctv

Does it work with google phone?

I would not have thought so this is a micro size flash drive but has a standard size usb interface. I don't know what the connection is on a Google phone but imagine it's either micro usb or 'c' type connector.

Can you use these and make folders on it in a Chromebook?

Yes, you can make folders in any memory stick
